hello, i would like to share what has just happened to me and if someone has gone thru something like this please notify me.

i have been a customer of aarons for atleast 15 years now.i have rented and purchased 3 televisions 1 living room set a washer/dryer set and 1 computer set all this paid in full thru the years. now iam renting another computer set which with only 1 payment away from paying it off the monitor stopped working . so i called aarons and i was advised to bring in the monitor and they would give me a loaner until mine would be fixed. i was told

that it would be about 2 weeks i said ok. two days later i received a call from aarons and was told that the warranty does not apply to monitor because the monitor was either hit or dropped and nothing they can do about it. i cannot believe they have told me this crap!!

that monitor has no scrathes or any dents whatsoever on it. iam only $63.00 away from paying in full and they tell me that they will not fix or replace my monitor. i feel that what they have done to me is just plain wrong and i feel ripped-off from them after all the business i have giving this company thru the years. right now iam so upset that iam going to see what options if any that i will take. i still have the loaner and iam waiting on a response from HQ i have yet to receive a response

from them. i will update later what the response was if i ever get one!!!

thankyou

Although I have never worked for Aarons, I worked for their competition RAC. Even at the end of the rental/lease agreement the merchandise has to be serviced. That is one of the few benefits of going rent to own, I am sure if you complain to corporate they will just give you a different monitor of equal size and type.

Find out who the RM (Regional Manager) is and contact him, if the store you are dealing with will not give you the info contact the next closest Aaron's and get it from them. Explain to the RM how much money you have spent over the years and how you plan on doing additional business if they can take care of this simple problem. As a regional I would find another Monitor for you and simply do a permanent exchange for you and it would be done with. The cost of a replacement monitor for you is far less expensive for Aaron's than the additional business they will loose from you along with the bad taste that would be left if they do not handle this right. I believe a RM will have this handled for you right away.
