I was hired by this company 5 months ago as a traslator. ABS Translate offer services such as live traslation, documents, etc. Once you are hired by this company, they send you all the potential projects by email and the first perosn that replies to the email or call the phone number given gets the job/project. I have done several projects (live phone calls where I needed to translate from English to Spanish) and as of today (3 weeks later) I have not received payment for my services. They promised that they send checks every Thursday; however this is a lie. No check can take 3 weeks to get to the recipient. I have sent them several emails, you receive an automatic reply stating that you will be contacted within 4 days, once a real person replies to your email, nothing is addressed. The answers are vague and they suggest keep waiting for the check. This situation is unacceptable and obviously they are fake. They will never pay me and they use these tactics to get professional bilingual people working for them for free. They owe me almost $1000 in my time and projects. PLEASE, do not work for them; DO NOT Accept any project that may sent you by email; otherwise you will be doing it for free. ABS Translate is a Scam.

Dear Eric,

We are very dissapointed your comments.  

You have worked with ABS only on 1 project as a contractor on 07/15/2015 with a payable amount to you of $18. This is the 1st project that you have worked on with our company.

The timeline of events is as described as below:

-> worked on project 07/15 (Wednesday)

-> Payments by our company are issued every Thursday and Friday for projects worked on before

-> Payment attempt 1 was made on July 17 (Friday) which is the default payment option

-> Email was received by you stating that you prefer check.

-> Payment 1 was cancelled and check processed as per your preference and request (done by our bank / cashiers check) takes 3-7 business days issued on 07/24 (Friday)

-> August 3 we received a email from you stating you did not receive the check.  We have no control of USPS deliveries and asked if you prefer us to cancel the check and re-issue paypal payment covering the PayPal fees due to this issue.

-> Threatening email was received from you that we are a scam and dishonest

-> We proceeded to cancel the check that was sent and issued PayPal payment including the PayPal fees of $2.

è 1 You never worked or contracted with ABS for 5 months. (this is a LIE)

è You had taken a project 1 time for phone interpreting for the amount of $18 payable to you, after which multiple attempts of payment were made (PayPal - 1st DEFAULT, Check - 2nd PER PREFERENCE, PayPal - 3rd - DUE TO DELIVERY ISSUE)

The timeline and images are attached to show the process including PayPal confirmation numbers. This report is dishonest, untrue and unethical and certainly dissapointing that lies are needed to exadurate your point.  ABS has a collaboration with over 20,000  linguists and we have never (EVER) missed a payment to anyone.  We cannot understand why you would write such lies and a unethical and dishonest review, which is very disappointing.

ABS prides ourselves in our work, our linguists and the clients we serve.

We hope you will consider removing this dishonest review.  Our linguists are paid the quickest in the industry and what you wrote is simply dishonest.
