I ordered on line a "free" trail size bottle of acai berry. Paid the shipping cost of 5.99 which I deducted from my visa debit card. That was suppose to be all there was. A "free" trail size.

Tonight when I called to confirm the balance on my card I was not prepared for what I heard. 78.81 less than what it should have been. I immediately called customer service and was told that the amount had been automatically taken out by acai berry.

To make matters worse...my paycheck which is the debit card, was for my light bill. Due in about 5 hours from now. 345.00 and I don't have it now.

How or can I get my money back?

Acai Diet Today is similar to Free Credit Report, Video Professor and many other companies offering "free" products or services. Think about it, why would any company offer to give you anything for free but to gather your name, address, phone number, and credit card number to sell you more product or services. When Denny's restaurants gave away their free Grand Slam breakfast (worth $4.99), they were promoting their dine-in eating experience. I am sure not all of the people who waited in line for the free breakfast only drank water. There are many people who ordered milk, orange juice or coffee. Read the Terms and Conditons. There is no ripoff. People do not read the contracts. http://www.acaidiettoday.com/1002237/images/footer/terms.html Trial Offer Terms The 14-day Free Trial Offer is designed to introduce our Pure Acai Berry product to consumers. The trial terms are as follows: When you order the Free Trial of Pure Acai Berry your credit card will be charged only the shipping and handling charge. You will have a full 14 day free trial period from your original order date to decide if Pure Acai Berry is right for you. Your Trial order includes one bottle of Pure Acai Berry with 60 capsules (a 30 day supply). If you are enjoying Pure Acai Berry, then do nothing and at the end of your 14-day trial period, you will be charged $78.81 for the trial bottle you received. Please remember most customers see significant/noticeable results after using Pure Acai Berry consistently for 3 months. If you find Pure Acai Berry is not right for you, simply call us at 1-866-964-1011 before the 14th day and complete the form. You will be issued a Return Merchandise Authorization Number (RMA#) so you may return the unused portion of the product to us. By returning the product to us, you will not be charged any additional fees and your future shipments will be cancelled. NO RETURNS WILL BE ACCEPTED WITHOUT A RMA NUMBER. Approximately 30 days from your original order date and every 30 days thereafter you will be sent a monthly supply of Pure Acai Berry (which includes one large bottle of Pure Acai Berry) and your credit card on file will be billed $78.81 plus $4.99 shipping and handling. That way you insure you will conveniently have it shipped directly to your front door every month and never run out.

TRY A LITTLE COMMON SENSE NEXT TIME. LIKE NOT BELIEVING ADVERTISEMENTS! LIKE READING THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS FIRST NOT USING DEBIT CARDS TO PAY FOR THINGS ONLINE if you cannot afford to have EXTRA money taken from your account.
