A few weeks ago I did a search on the internet concerning auto warranties. I submitted the make, model and year of my vehicle and waited for the companies to call. Access Warranty is the only one to call me. Here is my story:
A representative of the company from Nebraska called me this evening and asked about my internet query on auto warranties. I told him that I had made an inquiry into US FIDELUS and he immediately told me that they had an F rating with the BBB and that his company Access Warranty had a B rating with the BBB.
We began discussing the warranties and the gentleman said that price should not be an issue when buying a warranty at all. Then went on to explain why price should be the last thing I look at when purchasing a warranty. He then asked if I was looking at the price of warranties as a major or number one factor. I said yes it was simply because my husband and I are on a tight budget.
He then immediately turned to well if you can put 200 or 300 down tonight, I can send you all the information and you have 30 days to consider or cancel if you dont like the policy but I am absolutely guaranteed that you will love this policy.
My reply was well it depends on how long you are in the office tonight I need to discuss this with my husband who is not home. He then asks if my husbnd is the only one who makes the major decions for the auto, I tell him no but that my husband nor I do anything without discussing it with the other person first when it comes to purchases like this and that if he had an issue with that then the conversaion was over, he said Fine all ticked off and hung up on me.
The guy was very pushy, he was almost insistant that I purchase their policy and didnt want me to talk to my husband about this. My recommendation is do not do business with this company.
