I've signed up with Ackerman Security service after doing my research and noticed all the awards they received for outstanding service and Action 2 WSBTV, Atlanta local News recommended them.

On 3-15-2012, Ive signed up for their wireless service, their sales rep told me the only way to receive their wireless service is to agree to their auto pay or pay balance in full for the 1 year option upfront.  It was mandatory or no service because they did not do a credit check. 

I was hesitant at first because I told the representative I didn't like auto pay and asked was there an alternative option.  She said no, and that this was the only way and stated her company will invoice me before the next billing cycle so I can make sure to have extra money in my account on a certain billing day.   She made me sign the contract via her touch pad laptop and Ive requested for the original signed document. She emailed me the original, electronically signed document.  I reviewed the emailed document in her presence to make sure it was the same one and then printed it.  

However, I was promised to receive 2 months free for signing up with their service as a newbie, and rhey billed me in advance for 3 months service, so my next billing cycle would start by August 2012. 

However, I was pre maturely billed in June 2012, and I called them to correct this error.  I requested the representative due to this error, could they mail me a final balance statement for the remainder of the year to avoid this problem again. She advised me that Ive signed a 3 year contract and would not be entitled to a billing statement via mail or email,
unless after the 1st year. However, in order to receive their invoice statement, I would have to pay a small service fee.

I advised the customer service rep that I read the original contract and it never stated anything about it being a 3yr but only a 1yr contract. The rep confirmed and informed me again that I signed a 3yr contract and are not entitled to a quarterly billing statement unless I pay a 3yr contract in full or after the 1yr and agree to pay a small fee for their quarterly statements.  She claimed she will have her supervisor call me, but the supervisor may reintegrate her statement as before.  

Please be advised that I  WILL NEVER" sign up with ACKERMAN SECURITY SYSTEM  or any security service asking me to pay through their "Auto Pay" service in order to get their service wired or wireless,  EVER AGAIN. In the future, I would never sign an agreement electronically, and will always request in writing about their billing policy or otherwise they will
scam you about their billing statements.

My only regret is trusting the local news and should have requested a total balance for the 1yr service which would have proved my case. Unfortunately, this company is trying to forge my electronic signature to insinuate that I've signed a 3yr contract which I've never agreed too or signed.
