Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

If you're even slightly interested in "joining"  this ridiculous pyramid scam, PLEASE don't.  My husband was pressured by someone he knew and now deeply regrets getting involved.

Unfortunately, ACN will not return any of the money they have stoled from him, which is about $700.00 (not to mention the time wasted and embarrassment).  ACN will not let him return a brand new video phone (still in box) which cost $200.  ACN's policy is only a THREE day return from shipping date!  Come on!  It took two days from North Carolina to Ohio to get to my house.  We had ONE day to work with.

They also will not refund a $500 membership fee because he didn't act within ten days of joining.  He was NEVER informed of this by his "trained" rep.

The part that really bothers me is that this "friend" that recruited my husband did not tell him all the details-terms, policies, and regulations.  I had to research it myself, but by then it was too late.  That's how they get you.

I won't give up trying to recover our money.  Christmas is in two weeks and we would really like our hard earned $700 back!

This complaint isn't even worthy of more than my copy & pasted response.

I have written so many long and detailed responses to all of these baseless claims by ANONYMOUS sources, that It's nauseating, so I'll just keep them simple.

If you want to know the truth about this just go to - ACNIBO: Read The Facts - and read the article. It will only take a few minutes and you will understand the facts, not just opinions of 100s of ANONYMOUS complainers, who claim to know the truth, but wont reveal who they actually are.

There is no point in defending ACN from people who just want to believe how bad it is, they will seek what they want to believe, if you're one of them, dont bother reading the article you might have to change your mind.

I am about to join ACN and am doing my research. I t sounds to me that your husband did not. He signed up and you come in to research after the fact? That is the difference between winners and losers and I will concede that his friend that signed him up did not realize he had someone that had no ambition to go out and make something happen. I hope to avoid people like you if I go forward.

For those of you approached by ACN people, beware of what you are not being told.  I signed up recently and wasn't informed that 3 of the services which lead me to believe I could earn a good living, aren't available in my tristate area of Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana.  These services are internet, electric and gas which were pitched in the presentation.   I was told up front, that gas isn't available but would be in February which was fine because it's only a few weeks away.  However, upon detailed investigation, only 5 or 6 states have electric service available so that should be pointed out, as well as the other lack of services, up front so prospects can make an informed decision.  In addition, I ordered the digital phone service because it was only $24.99 including long distance but what I didn't know was that I'd have to pay another month's Cincinnati Bell service because it takes a month to transfer my phone number.   ACN people pressured me to call my friends and ask them to do me a favor by transferring some of their services to help me build a business.   However, I specifically told them I would be calling on business owners I have ties with, not friends.  Besides, my experience with the digital service has greatly reduced the savings I thought I'd have and recommending this to friends is not consistent with the 'Golden Rule' by which I strive to lead my life.

Clermont was right, this is not the opportunity the presenters build it up to be.

Don't you just love how these acn-ers smooth talk their way through everything? When you get down to the root of the matter, the fact of the matter is you're spending a hell of a lot of money to make money. Keep in mind that this is your hard earned money.

These people are nothing more than parasites who dress the part, with their business suits, ties, and fancy attach cases. They pretend that they are doing magnificent, yet they are doing worse than you, the hardworking middle class American. Therefore they will weasel their way into your trust with their smooth jargon , just to get you to sign a contract and pay a nominal fee. They pretend to be your best buddy but in the end, they are just out for themselves.

You ask how i know this? I was a former independent representative who went into this business with a customer service mentality. Unfortunately, I found that they don't care about the customers. All they care about is money, and signing the next gullible human being up so the people on top can make the money. They claim that all you pay is $499, and you own your own telecommunications company. They don't tell you that you have to pay for your own website. You go to the weekly meetings. You pay them $5 each week for the same song and dance. The same amens and hallelujahs. You also have to pay to go to all of the regional and international training events. Once again, you're spending a lot of money to make money. Also, the upline who originally introduced you to the business--your "friend"--blows you off when you ask for help.

If you wish to alienate your family and friends, this is the business for you. Personally, i don't believe the reader of this message would wish to do this. Nor do i think any potential business seeker would wish this upon anyone. I don't believe that a new rep would wish to promote faulty equipment to a potential customer.

If you wish to maintain your honesty and integrity, do yourself a favor and find something else.

I await and welcome reponses from any acn believer. I'm willing to wager that your responses will be something to the tune of "Well, your upline wasn't promoting the acn message the right way," or "You're a dream stealer" or my personal favorite, "you didn't read the fine print."

Humor me!

A few details that Becky left out.....

There are a few things that anyone reading Becky's report may want to ask her:

*Isn't it true that your husband is a successful businessman that looked at the ACN business as an opportunity to make residual income over time? And as an astute businessman he realizes this will take time and money?  However, he quit within 10 days. Is this really long enough to determine if it will work or not?

*Isn't it true that your husband felt that ACN was a good opportunity on the day he signed is independent rep agreement.  And that it was a good opportunity even though he didn't note that he had a 10 day rescission period. And further, the right to rescind is explained in paragraph form in red letters in the final paragraph just above the signature line of the online independent rep agreement?

*Isn't it true that the fee paid is not a membership, but actually a license to do business as an independent representative for a period of 12 months? I right that he can still exercise?

*Isn't it true that your husbands sponsor and other leaders repeatedly offered to help him market phones to other interested individuals and that he did not take them up on there offers during the 2 weeks that he test drove the business?

*Isn't it true that the video phone you purchased is an expensive device (estimated value $400+) that ACN gives to it's customers for about $100 plus shipping and activations, when the customer agrees to phone service (including free long distance) at $30/ month for 2 years? (Similar to cell phone companies) Isn't it true that your husband sought to break this contract? Isn't it true that the company agreed to give you an offsetting credit against your early termination fee AND allowed you to keep the phone?

*Isn't it true that your husband was excited about the opportunity to make residual income from bills that we all pay anyway? And that his independent rep agreement allowed him to not only market the video phone, but also cell phone service with all major wireless carriers, satellite TV service with both major providers, traditional phone service throughout the US, etc.  Despite all this, he lost enthusiasm, when you began to oppose his decision to start his ACN business. Only then did he seek to withdraw
