First matter of correction is that we understand all the levels of talent that come into our office to read. This being said, we never respond to anyone that they had a REALLY GREAT READ. The $50 towards headshots was a generous offer in hopes that we could work with the individual by helping them when they were unable to obtain the necessary tools for the industry. The audience participation work offered to this individual was in fact $60 (not $50 as they first mentioned nor $40 as they later changed their statement to). There should have been no embarrassment felt by accepting this job offer as this individual clearly needed income and couldn't follow standard protocol to obtain a higher paying extra role. The job offered was Audience Participation NOT an extra role. We thoroughly enjoy the company of our clients so to imply our staff is "snotty" leads me to believe this individual forced this issue upon our staff and instigated a confrontation. While on set, our clients uphold our reputation and it is imperative that respect is both given and received. In closing, Actors Reps of NY has been in business for over 34 years and is licensed with the Department of Consumer Affairs. Our reputation is flawless with the Department of Consumer Affairs and Better Business Bureau.
