The developer, Mike Williams, of Advantage Technologies established a website for Advantage Rent to Own, LLC. While the website was registered at the corporate address, with the corporate telephone number, he malliciously listed it under his domain as a re-seller to establish his ownership of the website without proer notification.

His intent was to own the website and not notify management, or ownership, which also gave him discretion to invoice large amounts of monies owed at will and use black mail to collect.

Over a disputed invoice Mike Williams, of Advantage Technologies shut down the website and engaged in unscrupulous activities, including contacting clients of ARTO and having them drop out as well as request refunds for services.

This scandelous actions resulted in the shutting down of ARTO. An attempt was made to purchase the website for $17,800 but it was rejected.

Beware of Mike Williams and Advantage Technologies because if he believes that a website that he builds has value, he will steal it and partner up with someone else.

Immoral people do immoral things! The character of this person is best pointed out by his recent conviction of assulting a young girl, under 21, in Brazil for which he served jail time. In order to be released, he had to pay a $4000 fine to the Brazilian authorities. This individual has circulated other information concerning under age girls in Tucson.

Doing business with a dishonest person can cause serious potential harm to your business. BEWARE!!!

Rebuttal to Mike Williams the person in control over the Scam Website of Advantage Rent to Own

#2Consumer Comment

Sat, November 01, 2008

Attention: Mr. Mike Williams....I see that you have now taken down your Bright Red Notice on this "Scam" website and apparently you are now operating this site, is this correct??? If so then I would be very careful that the various Authorities investigating this "Scam" may in fact link you to some sort of responsibility and hold you liable because you can claim your innocence and lack of knowledge prior to September 2008 however you have full knowledge at this time of all those "Scammed" by the owner of Advantage Rent to Own, LLC and how this website played a major role in soliciting people to invest into this "Scam". I have given you free advise over and over that if you are the moral person you claim then you would've severed all ties to this company, it's dba and its relationship to this website and you would've either taken the website down completely or put disclaimers up regarding who is now in control over this site and what is the differences since its using the same domain name and concept of the "Scam" operation that was operated by Richard Friedberg that you were a part of for sixteen (16) months by your own admission. I have nver stated that you received any of my investment however your actions as related with this Organization at the time I and many many others lost hundreds of thousands of dollars is a question for investigators to determine. Your replies that I don't know who to blame and your claims of being so innocent is a Joke in my opinion and you had full knowledge and/or should've had full knowledge of the "Scam" especially since you claim you worked for (16) months with little to no pay when you knew hundreds of thousands of dollars were coming in to the organization. People can read my complaints and your responses and make up their own minds as I am sure the investigators for the various criminal agencies will do in time. The wheels of justice move very slowly so don't think for a moment that this "Scam" has succeeded and you are flying under the raidar without possible consequences down the road. "Sleep with one eye open" that's my advice. Yours Truly...Denny

DENNY HUSTON just can't decide who to blame

#3REBUTTAL Owner of company

Apparently Denny has had complaints against Richard since April 2008. I was not aware of the details of these complaints until September 2008 because Denny had no communication with me during that time. After many months of complaining about Richard and filing several complaints on this website (ripoffreport.com), Denny realizes that has gotten him nowhere, so now he's trying to pass the blame onto other innocent victims like myself. The bottom line is I developed the Advantage Rent-to-Own website on my own time, received VERY LITTLE money over a 16 month period. I was promised 10% of revenue but that amounted to zero. Richard and his LLC didn't OWN ANYTHING. How many times do I have to say this to make myself clear? I think you know you'll never get any money out of Richard because he is financially, morally, and ethically bankrupt. Denny, was your check endorsed by Richard and made out to Advantage Rent-to-Own LLC, or was you check endorsed by Mike Williams of Advantage Technologies? This is an important question, I'd like the answer to. I have the feeling that you haven't the slightest idea of the relationship I had with Richard and would believe any lies he told you. Why don't you sue Richard for fraud, because we all now have evidence to believe he was operating scamming everyone?

My response to the rebuttal of Mike Williams is that his facts are in fact fiction! The blame goes to anybody and everybody that had anything to do with being involved in the rent to own "Scam" operated in part by Richard Friedberg and his accomplices. It's Mike Williams who remained associated with Advantage Rent to Own et al for sixteen months by his own admission and is the proud website developer of the ARTO website for whihc he has now siezed control for his own use and benefit. I am a part of a large group of people who lost investments to this "Scam" and the guilty parties will be dtermined as the investigation proceeds forward and its my belief that a website and its developer that received a percentage of profits in volved in the "Scam" will be considered a party of interest, in my personal opinion. Good Luck in defending your position Mr. Mike Williams and enjoy your website involved in the "Scam".

#8REBUTTAL Owner of company

Denny Huston fails to realize who the criminal is in this situation. He was victimized by ONE individual named Richard but is in denial about it. Because he has no ability to collect any money from Richard, he's starting to come after the website developer, who was simply Richard's vendor. I have the feeling that Denny is one of those people who would start a forest fire if he knew he could burn down the house of a person he disliked. Of course he fails to realize that he could be destroying thousands of other homes in the process. Denny, your argument is with Richard not me. By the way, I thought you said the website was worthless. Why don't you pay your developers $1,000 and develop your own website? Need I say any more about this victim?

This is filed as a direct rebuttal to Mike Williams claiming that I, Denny Huston can't decide who to blame in this Advantage Rent to Own, LLC "Scam" that destroyed lives and wiped out innocent peoples finances. This simply isn't true because I blame everybody that had any role or involvement with developing the "Scam" and then paying a role in soliciting innocent inveestors into a business that was flawed and had no chance for success. The focus of the complaints that have been filed on this site as well as with various investigative authorities at this time is against the owners of Advantage Rent to Own, LLC, all business associates and alliances that played any role in this "Scam". Mike Williams by his own admissions on this site, developed the website for Advantage Rent to Own, LLC and held a percentage share in net profits of the company and remained actively involved with this organization for sixteen months so it will be up to him to defend his actions and what role he played in this "Scam". He has now seized the website for AdvantageRenttoOwn dot com and posted in big red bold letters that he is owed over $35,000 for the website and as of October 04, 2008 he was attempting to sell this website to as he puts it, "ethical and honest individuals or entities". How funny is this statement considering this website that he developed and apparently controlled as its owner by his own admission was used to "Scam" Hundreds of Thousands of dollars so now Mike Williams wants to make sure the site is owned by someone that is "Ethical and Honest". Make no bones about this Mike Williams, I blame as does the 35+ other innocent investors that lost Hundreds of Thousands of dollars to this Investment "Scam" blames all parties who had any involvement whatsoever with this "Scam" and if that includes you as the Web Developer and Owner of the ARTO website then as the saying goes..."If the shoe fits then wear it!" I hope the investigation leads right to your door step and you can defend yourself however you deem fit but in the end, those that were involved and played a role will be found guilty of "Scamming" money and all related offenses. I hope I've made my position perfectly clear so anybody that reads this Rebuttal clearly understands who Denny Huston blames and who I don't.

Denny Huston just can't decide who to blame after signing a fraudulent contract with Richard Friedberg. "You state that I executed a Fraudulent Contract however it didn't become Fraudulent until it became defaulted..." This statement is BOGUS. The contract was fraudulent as soon as the ink was dried on the paper because Richard named Denny owner of a website that he (Richard) never owned. I've stated this several times but Denny can't seem to understand this. Also, isn't it interesting that my signature (the website developer's signature) was NOT on that fraudulent contract? What does Richard tell you about ownership of the website? Why don't you ask him (a) what the website was worth***, and (b) how much he paid me over the last 16 months? You already know the answers to these questions but you'd rather deny that I'm sure... ***Note: I've talked to customers who can testify that Richard told them that the website was worth $30,000 during the sales process. But, when it comes time to pay Richard changes his tune. What Richard does not realize is he is obligated to pay for the website per his contract with me. "I have two far more professional websites on the internet which are far more impressive..." OK, enjoy your websites and stop whining about something you have NO CLAIM or OWNERSHIP of. Note: Clients of mine who pay for a website OWN the website in its entirety. Clients who don't pay, don't own anything. This is business 101. Apparently you failed that class. If you think the "ARTO" website is worth $5,000 why did Richard offer me $17,600 a few weeks ago? That in itself is evidence that this website is worth a lot more than you THINK its worth. Furthermore, it makes NO DIFFERENCE what you THINK a website is WORTH. A website is worth the amount of development time that went into it, OR the value of what anyone is willing to pay for it. You never bothered to login in to the website therefore you have no idea what it contains or what value it has. If you want the website, I'll sell it to you or anyone else for $35,760. If you don't want it, keep the garbage you have and have a nice life!!! Denny Huston wants to blame me, Mike Williams, for a fraudulent contract that he signed with Richard Friedberg assigning him property that Richard never owned. Denny needs to wake up and realize Richard was the cause of the problem. Denny needs to also accept SOME responsibility for not calling the website developer in March and for not getting proof of ownership of the advantagerenttoown.com domain. I have the feeling that if Mickey Mouse promised Denny Disney World, he'd be shouting at the 16 year old operator of the Magic Kingdom ride for his claim to the entire theme park.

#16UPDATE EX-employee responds

Anybody reading this rebuttal and clearly review all the complaints, updates, rebuttals etc posted on this site against: Advantage Technologies, Mike Williams, Advantage Rent to Own, LLC, Richard Friedberg et al and I am sure you will see how these people and companies were all entertwined together. Mike Williams seems to want to blame me for not doing my due dilingence in not knowing about Richard Friedberg's past that go back to the early 1990's when he himself claims to be owed $31,000 and its he, (Mike Williams) who apparently knows now and should've known of the shady past of Richard Friedberg because it's he, (Mike Williams) posting the news articles of "Friedberg's" past. The truth is that Mike Williams claims to be owed $31,000 for a website that is worth a few thousand dollars at the most and its my personal opinion that his claims for $31,000 is really related to the 10% of the net profit revenues generated through the "Scam" perpetrated by Advantage Rent to Own, LLC, Richard Friedberg et al. This was a "SCAM" of a major magnitude and any involvement by anybody associated with this "SCAM" will be flushed out I am sure and I sure wouldn't want to be the person or company now controlling the domain or website of www.advantagerenttoown.com so enjoy "YOUR" website Mike Williams that you claim a debt against it of $31,000. THE END!

Let's make something clear Mr. Williams, I was trying to work with you so the innocent "Victims" and investors who depend on that website would not have it shut down by you and your company. I never wanted the website because any assoication with Advantage Rent to Own, LLC could open up anybody to some major major problems which includes criminal issues and now this is your problem to deal with not mine. You state that I executed a Fraudulent Contract however it didn't become Fraudulent until it became defaulted and apparently you knew of the shady past of Richard Friedberg well before anybody else learned about it because you are the person posting it on rip off report and sending copies of news articles out in e-mails so who is doing the Whining about $31,000 when they should've known not to get in bed with this character in the first place. The criminal investigation will determine exactly what your role was so I leave that to them but what you did to all the innocent investors "VICTIMS" in taking control over the website and posting your demand for what you allege you are owed for a rediculous amount of $31,000 is a crime in itself. I have two far more professional websites on the internet which are far more impressive, have just as much content including falshing Home pages and I paid less than $5,000 for both and they are being hosted for $99 annually so why don't you just admit that the $31,000 you are alleging is owed to you is estimated commissions from the approx. $300,000 you claim were "Scammed" from innocent "VICTIMS" for which you want you cut. I have nothing more to say to you or about you except any client of Advantage Technologies better take any and all action to make sure your websites don't suddenly become the property and under the control of Mike Williams if he all the sudden decides to hold your websites to extort money from you. I would tell any client of Advantage Technologies and Mike Williams to go to www.advantagerenttoown.com and see the Home Page of this website. This could in fact happen to you and your company could suddenly become Mike Williams company.

Denny's False Claim

#21REBUTTAL Individual responds

Wed, September 24, 2008

Denny Huston signed a fraudulent contract with Richard Friedberg of Advantage Rent-to-Own which named Denny owner of all Richard's assets in the event of a default. In this poorly written contract that Denny signed with Richard, it states: "Job Title shall be Corporate Executive Vice President, (New Business Development) with a 33.3% stock ownership in ARTO, LLC with complete access and control over "ARTO" website and backend support activities, (any default transfers 100% control to Denny Huston and "CAC")..." Assuming Richard is talking about a default on his payment for web services to me, it is nothing more than common sense that Denny Huston inherits Richard's website debt of $31,760. Furthermore, if Denny wants "CONTROL" of the website, he must make an agreement with Advantage Technologies, Inc. and take over website payments. I, Mike Williams, was never even aware of this fraudulent contract until about 5 days ago. Isn't it interesting that my signature does not appear anywhere on that contract? Furthermore, whether Richard assigned Denny all of his assets and/or debts, the following statements can be made: 1. the "ARTO" website was never an asset of Advantage Rent-to-Own, LLC as it was never paid for. 2. the "ARTO" website WAS a debt of Advantage Rent-to-Own, LLC and if Denny was assigned this debt, he must pay this debt if he wants ownership and control of the "ARTO" website. Furthermore, this contract has nothing to do me because I did not create it, never knew of it's existence, and obviously never was asked to sign it. Denny, if you want CONTROL of the "ARTO" website, the bottom line is you must agree to a payment plan. Since you think the website is worthless, I don't know why you are fighting so hard for control. You told me you have a web developer who could re-develop the whole website for $1,000. Assuming he can create the same website in 450 hours, that works out to $2.22 per hour. Denny, do you really want to take the liability of paying someone less than the minimum wage?

ADVANTAGE RENT TO OWN LLC - RICHARD FRIEDBERG, OWNER

#22REBUTTAL Individual responds

I'd like to address Richard Friedberg's false claim and backwards thinking logic. First he says I stole company materials and the business. I'd like to state that I have absolutely NO interest in the "company materials", as they are 2 years outdated, and I have reason to believe that Richard stole much of these materials from a company called Bob Cohn Realty in Tucson, Arizona. As far as the LLC is concerned, Richard does still have that, and that can be verified at the Arizona Corporation Commission. If Richard no longer owned the LLC, would his name be listed on the ACC website? Richard Friedberg's claim was that I "stole" his business. Obviously, Richard fails to understand that there are no free rides. Richard think he is entitled to a $34,760 website when he NEVER paid for it. Richard, wake up! You get what you pay for. Sit down and shut up. Stop being a VICTIM. Your days are numbered. Your past is catching up with you. Have you forgotten about your experience with the PTC institute? How many careers have you had anyway? It's very interesting how all of these "businesses" have had the same kind of complaints, and nearly the same outcome. Had Denny done some research, he may have found that Richard had spent some time behind bars for his crime. According to the Federal Bureau of Prisons (www.bop.gov), Richard served a sentence for his criminal activities and was released on September 18, 1995. His register # was 45522-066 in case anybody would like to verify this. Did Richard come to Arizona becase he was not permitted to operate a business in the state of Pennsylvania anymore? I think this news article in the Phildelphia Daily News gives us all a clear picture of how Richard intends to run ANY company he's involved with. My last question is "does character change"? -------------------------- PTC INSTITUTE SHUTS DOORS OWNERS ACCUSED OF MISUSING FUNDS By Joseph R. Daughen, Daily News Staff Writer Source: Philadelphia Daily News (PA); 449 words Published: 1994-03-15 Section: LOCAL | Page 13 | Edition: PM A trade school accused of misusing federal education money has suddenly closed, throwing 200 instructors out of work and depriving 1,600 students of the classes they paid to attend. The school, PTC Career Institute, operated in Philadelphia and five other cities until it closed without notice last week. Yesterday, a group of angry students who had paid about $4,000 each for a five-month nursing assistant course gathered in frustration outside the PTC facility at 40 N. 2nd St. "We've been hearing all kinds of rumors about the school being in debt and teachers not getting paid," said Janet Peterson, 26, of North Philadelphia. ''They kept pushing the graduation back, to April 8, then April 23, then May. Last week, it was closed due to the heating system breaking down. We can't get any information." A hand-lettered sign on the front door of the three-story structure said, ''Due to a broken heater motor we will be closed until further notice." The sign was dated March 7. The students said they were instructed to call the school for further information, only to hear a message that said: "PTC is temporarily closed. As soon as we have further information we will contact all students and staff." The Philadelphia PTC employed about 50 instructors in nursing assistance, private security, building maintenance and various aspects of computer operation. About 300 students were enrolled. Joel Sweet, an attorney for PTC, said the company closed its six schools because the U.S. Department of Education had cut off funds "without justification." Those funds, in the form of grants and loans, helped students pay for their classes. Almost all of PTC's students here and in Atlanta, Baltimore, Newark, Detroit and Chicago received some sort of government tuition aid. Sweet said that without the assistance, which constituted a substantial part of PTC's $16 million in annual revenues, the schools could not remain open. In a Jan. 5 letter to PTC owners Richard and Rimona Friedberg, however, the Department of Education said it was withholding funds because of the Friedbergs' misuse of the federal money, including paying themselves salaries of $300,000 each and paying their two sons and a daughter-in-law $200,000 each. The Freidbergs, both 52, were convicted in separate trials of evading more than $130,000 in taxes. At their trials, testimony was presented accusing them of spending that amount to fix up their $700,000 Villanova home, then writing it off as a PTC business expense. They are free pending appeals. Stephanie Babyak, a spokeswoman for the Education Department, said her agency is contacting the states where PTC operated to enlist their help in putting together "teach-outs," in which affected students would finish their courses at other schools. The Pennsylvania Department of Education said PTC's license here expired March 1. Philadelphia Daily News (PA)

ADVANTAGE RENT TO OWN LLC - RICHARD FRIEDBERG, OWNER

#23REBUTTAL Individual responds

Tue, September 23, 2008

I'd like to address Denny's false claim and backwards thinking logic. He signed an agreement with Richard about gaining ownership to something that was never owned or paid for by the LLC. Wasn't it interesting that the web developer of this "supposed" company was not required to sign this contract?? That most certainly invalidates the contract with respect to the website. It wasn't Richard's property PERIOD. Now, if Richard signed over 100% of the LLC, by all means, go right ahead and take control of the LLC. I'm not stopping you from doing that. Denny, you are partly to blame here because you didn't do you due diligence before signing this ridiculous agreement. You had the assumption that the DOT COM was fully owned by the LLC, which was absolutely NOT the case. Even if the DOT COM was legally part of the LLC, you would still be required to assume the debt of this website. This is the best case scenario for you. Had you made any effort to call me (the web developer) about this, I would have cleared up all of Richard's many false statements, and most likely you would have filed this fraudulent agreement in the trash. If Mickey Mouse promised you 50% of Disneyland, only if you signed a contract between yourself and Mickey, do you expect Walt Disney to sign it over to you? The domain name was always in my control because it was the only leverage I had. Had the domain name been in Richard's control, we all know what he would have done at a time like this. Don't blame me for protecting myself against Richard. You would been wise to do the same. You apparently think I have a "claim" on the website. What you fail to realize is I developed it and I am the rightful owner. Your legal dispute is between you and Richard to fight over who should assume the debt for the unpaid property. If neither of you want to pay for the unpaid property, then the bank must foreclose on either one of you... Poor Denny wants to portray himself as a victim, but in reality, because he failed to do the due diligence before signing this ridiculous contract, he now has to suffer the consequences of his ill-planned decision. For $50, he could have done a background check on Richard. Perhaps, he would have found something like this: -------------- Pa. sues to shut down Civil Service Career Center By Jeff Gelles Source: Philadelphia Inquirer, The (PA); 657 words Published: 2001-11-21 Section: BUSINESS | Page C01 | Edition: CITY-D | Memo: Consumer Watch Remember Civil Service Career Center, the local company that has drawn dozens of complaints about a $387 program it says can prepare people for employment tests and help them get government jobs? Some told consumer-protection agencies that they were misled about what the company offered. Others said they were strung along for weeks or months for refunds that they never got. Civil Service Career Center said it was just holding customers to contracts they signed. Yesterday, state Attorney General Mike Fisher weighed in on the side of the disgruntled customers, accusing the Eagleville, Montgomery County, company of "blatantly deceiving consumers and creating false hopes of finding employment." In a suit filed in Commonwealth Court, Fisher said the company's ads, Web site and sales pitches were designed to make customers believe that Civil Service Career Center was affiliated with the government, or at least had special access to government jobs. Fisher said the company, which also does business as American Career Center on Castor Avenue in Northeast Philadelphia, "claimed that they could provide job listings that cannot be obtained elsewhere. And that's just false." What does Civil Service Career Center say? Richard Friedberg, named in the suit as owner of the company, said he could not comment because he hadn't seen the suit. He referred questions to a Harrisburg lawyer, who did not return calls. In an interview two weeks ago, though, Friedberg said most customers were satisfied with the company's test preparation, resume assistance and job counseling. "I think we provide a valuable service," Friedberg said. "Do we satisfy a hundred percent of the people a hundred percent of the time? Probably not." Fisher says the state has had at least 50 complaints from customers of the company since the beginning of last year, people from 10 Pennsylvania counties, New Jersey, Maryland and Virginia. The state is seeking restitution, fines, and a court order to shut down the business, which also has offices in Center City and Westmont, N.J. This isn't the first time that Friedberg has been in the spotlight. From the mid-1970s through the early 1990s, he ran the PTC Career Institutes chain of trade schools, which was criticized by state and federal officials for a variety of problems, including abuse of the federal student-loan program. Its students had an extraordinarily high rate of student-loan defaults. PTC, which had offices as far away as Chicago and Atlanta, eventually went bankrupt. "Some people are still paying those loans off, and never got jobs," said Irv Ackelsberg, a lawyer for Community Legal Services who in the early '90s won discharges for some PTC clients who shouldn't have qualified for college loans. At a news conference yesterday to announce the suit against Friedberg and Civil Service Career Center, Fisher said his goal was to ensure that the businessman finds a new line of work. "Our request for relief, we hope, is broad enough to keep Mr. Friedberg out of business in Pennsylvania for good," the attorney general said. Two weeks ago, Friedberg made clear that he thought he was operating on safe ground. "We provide people with counseling and support services to take them through the process" of finding a government job, he said. "We are not a school, and we're not an employment agency." Fisher's suit aims squarely at part of that contention. It accuses Friedberg and his company of operating as an employment agency without a license and failing to have their employees licensed. If Fisher succeeds in shutting the company down and getting restitution, it will be welcome news for people such as Kevin Michlo of Royersford, who joined Fisher at the news conference to tell of his frustration in trying to get a refund. "They really took advantage of people," Michlo, 50, said. "People are so vulnerable when they're out looking for a new job. They'll say yes to anything if they think it will help." Contact Jeff Gelles by e-mail at [email protected] or by phone at 215-854-4558. Consumer Watch appears Sundays, Wednesdays and Saturdays. Philadelphia Inquirer, The (PA)

The facts are that Richard is accusing Mike Williams of lying about filing a domain name under Mike Williams name as owner instead of what was suppose to be ARTO's website and this seems to make sense since all of the innocent investors in this ARTO "Scam" was led to believe the website was there to support all of the investors as a part of what they invested in. Honestly, I don't believe either Richard or Mike Willaims because Mike Williams is holding the website as hostage trying to force me or somebody else what he claims Richard owes him which is a rediculous $31,000. I've seen the Agreement by and between ARTO and Mike Williams and what ARTO promised Mike Williams was 10% of the net profits of the company in exchange for serving the company as its Chief Informational Officer ("IT") development etc. The fact that 10% of the net profit turned out to be nothing shouldn't be surprising knowing now what a "Con" Richard Friedberg is alleged to be by most posters on this site. It's clear to me that it was probably a case of Mike Williams planning the "Scam" against ARTO by registering the domain name and making himself (Mike Williams) the owner of the domain unbeknown to Richard or ARTO at that time. Why would anybody in their right mind risk their company and incorporate their company Advantage Rent to Own, LLC and then prepare an elaborate website to support their company but allow an Employee to register everything under the employees name??? The dispute by and between Richard and Mike Williams deosn't concern me or my company and I have a document that pledged the domain and the website to me as collateral against my investment and the answer to Mike Williams question to me is as follows: If Donald Trump ledged something to me and it turned out that someone else also claimed an interest in the same collateral then usually the two that claim ownership would discuss a resolution since both parties apparently were duped however in this case, Mike Williams simply took control over the website that many questions exist as to if he has a right or not to do so and he is holding as hostage when innocent investors that were scammed sit back and have nothing. My intent was to re-direct the current site to a newly developed domain and recreate the website so the innocent investors can continue to utilize the management tools of the site without interruption. I also proposed that we post all kinds of disclaimers on the redeveloped website where everybody could learn about the ARTO "Scam" and be directed to the various investigative authorities so even those that we are unware of at this time could perhaps learn of all that has happened with ARTO and those involved in the "Scam". Mike Williams wants no part of any effort in doing anything that may benefit those innocent investors until or unless he gets his $31,000 from somebody. In the end those that were and are a part of the "Scam" that deceived so many people in the Advantage Rent to Own, LLC business program will I at least hope spend sometime behind bars with "Bubba".

ADVANTAGE RENT TO OWN LLC - RICHARD FRIEDBERG, OWNER

#30REBUTTAL Individual responds

Sun, September 21, 2008

This is in response to Denny's false claim. What Denny fails to realize is that the advantagerenttoown.com website was never stolen or seized by anyone. The website was simply never paid for by Richard Friedberg and therefore not OWNED BY Advantage Rent-to-Own LLC. Richard ATTEMPTED to seize the website from me (the developer), but unfortunately for him, he was unsuccessful!! The only INJUSTICE is that Richard made a lot of fraudulent statements and false promises to many other individuals and now Richard should be held accountable and responsible. Denny, here is a question for you to think about: If Richard promised you 50% of the Taj Mahal and couldn't deliver would you fly to india and sue the owners of the Taj Mahal? Your complaint and legal case is ENTIRELY with Richard not with me. But, maybe your whole purpose is just to create waves, even at the expense of other innocent people. In addition, I had NO knowledge of any such contract you had with Richard assigning you 33% of the website until just a few days ago. In fact, I had little knowledge of what Richard did most of the time because I never worked in the same office with him. If you believe you legally are entitled to 33% of the website, you would simply inherit 1/3 of Richard's debt. But, since Richard misled you (and I'm sure he did because he has a long history of this) and told you the website was owned entirely by Advantage Rent to Own, LLC, he made a fraudulent statement and should now suffer the consequeneces. Richard Fraudberg can claim I ruined his company, and he can claim Mickey Mouse ruined his company, but his claims are completely false. Like I mentioned above, I was paid $3,000 for a website that had a development cost of $34,760. Much of my invested time was in 2007 and based on the false promise of receiving 10% of net profits. I didn't see a dime of the 10% of profits and I never saw the accounting records. Advantge Rent-to-Own should be investigated for tax fraud. Richard still has an LLC, and I believe he owns advantagerenttoown.net. Maybe Denny should be entitled to 1/3 of advantagerenttoown.net, since it is something that is OWNED by Advantage Rent-to-Own LLC, but all I see at this time is a bunch of marketing ads. Denny, my advice to you would be to just go after Richard for fraud and try to get your money back. I have no idea what you paid because the payment was mailed to and handled by the Friedberg's. The only reason the website is still "turned on" is because I stepped in and paid the hosting bill in June. Also, I believe there are some customers that rely on the website. To be fair to the customers, the site will continue to be online and available for use for another 2 weeks. Then, I may decide to sell (or lease) the web product for a fair price. Of course the name and logo can be changed by anyone interested in buying this website. ADVANTAGE RENT TO OWN LLC - RICHARD FRIEDBERG, OWNER

#31REBUTTAL Individual responds

Sun, September 21, 2008

The report filed by Richard Friedberg is COMPLETELY inaccurate. Richard Friedberg formed Advantage Rent-to-Own LLC in May 2007. He didn't have the money to pay me for my web development services, therefore an arrangement was made where he agreed to pay a highly discounted rate for my services and 10% of net profits. In 2007, I believe Advantage Rent-to-Own LLC pulled in over $300,000 in revenue but apparently had $0 in profits. Since I was supposedly a 10% partner, I asked to see the 2007 accounting records but this was never provided. Every time I asked for these records, excuses were made as to why they weren't available yet. At the end of 2007, I was told there were no profits because "there was no money left over". I terminated my partnership with Richard on Sept 3, 2008 because of trust issues, his bad ethics, his terrible decision making, and his ongoing excuses for not being able to pay for my discounted bill rate, or even the website hosting bill. Richard Friedberg has paid a GRAND TOTAL of $3,000 towards a website that has a development cost of NEARLY $35,000. On Sept 3rd, Richard Friedberg was 90 days past due on making ANY payment toward the website development. I mailed Richard a certified letter on Sept 3, 2008, indicating my termination from the partnership along with an invoice for $31,706. This was the full cost of all of my unpaid web development time, which according to contract was owed to me. Richard was well aware of this cost as I emailed invoices every month for over a year showing him what the ongoing cost was. Richard Friedberg can make all of the false statements he wants, but the fact is, he has ABSOLUTELY NO CLAIM AT ALL over any part of the advantagerenttoown.com website. Richard accused me of stealing "his" website, however he never owned anything. There are some other complaints on this website against Richard Friedberg, of Advantage Rent-to-Own by multiple customers regarding the sale of real estate rent-to-own licenses. Apparently multiple customers have asked for refunds and the status of those complaints are unknown at this point. Richard also promised and wrote contracts giving other individuals "ownership" of a website that he never owned. Richard Friedberg was convicted of tax fraud in Philadelphia in the early 1990s and there is evidence in the Philadelphia Inquirer news archives. Richard has been spreading false rumors about me and trying to destroy my reputation. Anybody who knows me knows I am ethical, honest, and provide value to my clients in the information technology field. Anybody who REALLY knows Richard, knows he is a scam artist, a liar, a coward, and tries to leverage other people for his own financial benefit. Richard is bankrupt financially, morally, and ethically. This is what I truly believe. Richard needs to be stopped from any further fraudulent business practices and prosecuted to the full extent of the law. Sincerely, Michael J. Williams, CEO Advantage Technologies, Inc.

To all concerned that was involved with Advantage Rent to Own, LLC and relied upon this website for information it contained, we now have Richard Friedberg and Mike William calling eachother thieves.....isn't that like the Kettle calling the other Kettle Black??? I entered into an Agreement whereas Richard Friedberg pledged what he claimed as ownership in his company as well as the companies website and the backend support systems and all company assets to myself and my company back on 05/09/2008. On 08/14/2008 when it was clear that Agreement had been breached and I attempted to seize control of the company, it;s assets and the website and backend, I sent a certified letter to Richard Friedberg demanding that he turn over these assets and discontinue representing himself as an agent for the company. Instead I now learn that Mike William has in fact taken control over the website which is the only true assertion Richard Friedberg has made in any of his postings on this site and he, (Mike William) claims to me that he owns the domain and the website 100%. My question is who do I and all the other "Victims" of this "Scam" seek our lost investments from since Richard Friedberg is claiming Mike William caused his company to fail and Mike William is claiming to own the only real asset that can be located which is the domain and website of the company???? Who is responsible for all the false and fraudulent content that appeared on this website that caused innocent investors to believe in that content and to invest their hard earned dollars into what we now all know to be a "Scam" I guess we'll leave this all to be sorted out by all the criminal investigative authorities that will be involved in investigating the actions by all concerned with Advantage Rent to Own, LLC and/or www.advantagerenttoown.com which we now know is owned and controlled by Mike William 100%. Anybody with any information related to either organization should notify your local authorities and advise them as to what you know to assist in their criminal investigations.
