Hello,

The decision to temporarily suspend the account and remove the Kinah is final. The game logs have been thoroughly reviewed, and our support team has conclusive evidence showing that at least one character on your account has knowingly and willingly accepted currency and/or game items provided by a real-money trading (RMT) network. It is your responsibility to be familiar with the User Agreement and avoid any behavior prohibited by it.

The User Agreement can be found here:

http://us.ncsoft.com/en/legal/user-agreements/aion-user-agreement.html

Participating in real-money transactions is a serious offense that harms the integrity of the game and its community of players. I have elected to give you a final chance to play by the rules using the same account and characters. In light of the violation, we maintain that our response is appropriate and fair, so I must respectfully inform you that any further appeals to reverse the penalty will not be addressed.

Please be aware that further violations can result in the permanent closure of your account.

Sincerely,

GM Kaine

Terms of Service are there for a reason

You know when you insalled the game and it had that thing called the "Terms of Service"?  I noticed it when I install any NCSoft game.  You have to check a box accepting the terms and conditions laid out in it.

What you did violated those terms, specifically buying gold.  If you didn't understand what you were agreeing to, why did you agree?  Secondly your issue is with the people who sold you the illegal product.  Not the company whose rules you violated.

Yes, buying gold or items in (most) online games is illegal.  Why? Because the company who made the game has ownership of it.  You have zero right to claim any profit from items your characters have.  Don't believe me?  Try and sue the company and see how that goes.
