Alan/Gloria Harding have several businesses. I purchased a Russian Blue Kitten from them because the seemed like very caring people and could really speak well about the breed. Little did I know that my nightmare had just begun. Days after bringing my new kitten home, which I found out later from a great breeder, was much too soon(12 weeks), He began sneezing. After several attempts to reach Alan he finally called me back and said that he was probably adjusting to his new environment. I believed him and the sneezing subsided after a week or so. At 6 months when I took my precious boy in to have him Neutered, blood work revealed that he was very sick.
After two other Vets and thousands of dollars later, it was determined that my Cat had FIP-Feline Infectious Peritonitis FAQ. The minute the blood work came out bad I tried repeatedly to call Alan for help. He would not return my calls until one day I managed to catch him at work using a different phone number to disguise myself. At that point he was extremely rude and uncaring.
I had to take this man to court. He lost. He still has not paid me for everything and his emails go unanswered. All you have to do is meet this man to see that he doesn't have a caring, ethical bone in his body. If I had met him,(I dealt with his wife), I'm certain I would not have purchased my cat from him.
He's been sued 3 times for all 3 of his businesses. He has several negative BBB reports.
Don't put yourself through the pain and suffering that myself and others have gone through.

I would gladly meet this man anywhere, any time. He lost his case because, "all" studies show that FIP is likely from unclean catteries and over breeding. Read up on any web site and you will see that it is true. When taken to court, he was caught in at least 3 lies.
Check him out on BBB and you will see plenty of complaints. Look him and his businesses up on the Pasco County website and see how many suits have been filed against him. You will be able to decide for yourself who is ethical and who is not.
He sent a letter to the court house promising to pay and to date has only sent a partial payment. My only recourse now is to have the courts file a lien on his property which the process has already begun. It's a matter of principle. He is a horrible person and yes, I spent over 2k trying to save my poor kitten. The judge saw all the bills.
Call a Russian Blue breeder, they'll tell you some tales about this guy. And ask when he last won any ribbons on his cats. Better yet, ask him to show you proof. Cause his tales are tall.

In response to this personal attack. I am the owner of Memere-Pata Cattery and yes I do have another buisness here in Florida. A Roofing company that I have had for over twenty five years. ( so three complaints I would say is not to bad)
In response to this complaint yes this person Kelly Kinsey did purchase a Russian Blue Kitten from me at the age of twelve weeks, wich is the age that we let our kittens go to there new homes. The kitten was purchased with a State Of Florida Health Certificate and a very explicit contract stating that the kitten would need to continue on with the new owners Vet to compete its series of Vaccinations.Her contract allso stated that she was to take the kitten to her own vet within 48 hours but she failed to do so. Well acording to this person she said that her vet stated that the kitten needed no more vaccines. So now the kitten is in a new home and has not had its full set of kitten vaccines for its protection.
now three months later when she goes back to her vet her kitten is now sick. This woman has had the kitten for three months in her care I have not had any control over what the kitten has been exposed to.
Yes she did try to contact me at that time by e-mail and when I did not respond within twelve hours she sent me a threataning e-mail ( I was away at a family wedding) When I got back home I did contact her. Even though I had no control over what her kitten may have been exposed to I did offer to replace her kitten but she refused.
She did not have thousands of dollars in vet bills. She presented us with six hundred dollars in vet bills. So now you can see that she has no acredibility .
Yes she did take us to court but she never had the balls to face me in court, she called and gave the judge a long sad story that she broke down on the highway so the case proceeded with her on the phone. Well of coarse she had no paperwork to back up her story so the judge had to make his own decision. Yes he did side with her
I am sure that if she did have the nerve to actually be prescent in court that it would have had a differant outcome, she took the cowards way out (it is so much easier to lie when you don't have to show your face)
I have been breeding for twenty years now and have continuely had Top International Winns with my Russian Blues If my kittens were not healthy then I certainly would not be getting Top International Winns.
She states that if she had met me that she would not have dealt with me( she dealt with my wife) After seeing her and her wife Im sure I would not have dealt with her either.
After finding this site the other night and after reading this slander exspecialy involving my wife and posting her name when her name is not on anything I will be folowing up on this with my lawyer on slander with whoever is involved.
