Can you believe it, they sent me a letter stating that they would give me $120.00 for a sofa that cost over $400.00, and I just bought it before moving!!!! They state that I can take the money they are offering, or that they would close my claim and I would have to sue them. Anyone that is reading this...DO NOT USE ALL AMERICAN MOVERS AND STORAGE....AND MAKE SURE NO ONE YOU LIKE...(although you might recommend them to someone you really hate)...USES ALL AMERICAN MOVERS AND STORAGE!!!!

Well, I finally received one of my sofas. It smelled, but it was in its original shape. Now I'm asking the company for the following:
1. 394.68 (cost of still missing sofa including tax/delivery
2. 131.67 (estimated cost that I paid All American Movers and Storage to move the still missing sofa)
3. 191.40 (compensation for the time I was without both sofas, this would be the average cost to rent sofas during that time in my area)
Now, lets just see what All American Movers & Storage will do!!AND how long it will take them!!! I'll keep you posted on how this company handles my claim.

After all of my problems with All American Movers & Storage, after I waited "While sitting on the floor" for two months to get reimbursed for my sofas, or to just get my sofas back would be nice! I decided to file this complaint. I also filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. I sent All American Movers & Storage an email to explain that I was sorry it came to this and to let them know that I did file a complaint against them. After I let them know about my complaint I received a nasty email back from one of their employees!
She stated the following...this is a quote from her letter: "In your letter you state that you call and don't get a response back that is completely a lie I have spoken to you many many times and told you that we located the sofas and that the first truck that we have we will send it to you when speaking to you on the phone you were very rude after I have apologized and did all I could for you I went over and above to assist you and for that I got yelled at by you and for a half an hour you just said bad things to me."
My response to her letter:
1. She is correct, we did talk many many times on the phone. Each and everyone of those phone calls I made, NOT HER! The only reason she ever called my mom was because she didn't even have my phone number, which proves that she never once called me!
2. As for the comment about me yelling at her and saying bad things. Never did I ever yell, and never did I say bad things to her or about her. If she ever bothered to read the claim letter that I sent to her company, she would have seen that in the claim I even said nice things about her. Here is a quote from my letter to All American Movers and Storage: "A few weeks ago I finally got a hold of a responsible person,(her name). I have been calling (Her Name) daily, it seems that she has truly tried to locate my items and possibly found one, but even with all of her very appreciated help, I still do not have my sofas or money for reimbursement" Now after reading this quote from my letter to her company, can you believe she ever bothered accusing me of being mean to her!!!
3. Then she stated that they found my couch and were just waiting for a truck to drive my way. Over a month ago she told me that they located a sofa that they believed was mine, are you telling me that instead of spending some money to have it sent to me, they are going to wait for one of their trucks to come my way before they send it to me! And the whole time I have to sit on the floor! What kind of business is this!!!!
