All Trades Construction Ricky Smith & Bonnie Rockmore ripoff didnt pay bills which we gave money for so we ended up paying again Conyers Georgia
All Trades Construction a company owned by Ricky Smith and Bonnie Rockmore was building a house for us. In the begining he would give us computerized invoices. Then started handwriting them. Then I gave hime checks in the amount of $7000. $6000. and $3500. which i did not get invoices for. He kept saying he forgot them. We gave him money to pay for insulation. I had no idea he didn't pay, until i received a Lien on my property from the court. I called the insulation company and they told me they had come to my house to finish the job and get a check.
Ricky Smith told them he didnt have the money. They came 3 times and on the 3rd time he told them he had sent them a certified check.(which he did not).They sent him a letter on May 9, stating if their bill wasn't paid by May 19, they were putting a lien on my property. He never told me about this letter, so of course i got a lien. I gave him a check for 2 toilets and 3 sinks, which he did not get. We had to buy them. My husband finally got so upset he fired him. I spoke to my husband and said we are so close to finishing the house to talk to him. (This was before we found out about the lien)
My husband apologized, and Ricky Smith said he would start working again. He never did. My son in law in trying to finish the house. We were supposed to be in the house by April 15, then April 30, then May 7, then May 14. We are still not in the house.
