I was trying to sign up for www.familtreenow. I input my data and when it requested my checking account data.... it went into a secondary area. I was led to believe that this site was their co-company that handles their financial account setting up.

I tried to sign into familytreenow the following day and could not access it. I tried again the following day when I had time.  Still could not access it.  I finally got the time to contact familytreenow and they said I did not have an account with them.

They then gave me the direct phone number to truthfinder (obviously they have had this happen to them before to have the phone number immediately accessable).  I called Truthfinder and was told yes I signed up for them and I complained about what I considered internet decete by their company by more or less causing me to sign in with them.... while I was truly trying toset up with the other company.

Familytree now is a personal info data company also, but supposedly areputable one.  After this happened... I can see why.

The information I was able to obtain from the TruthFinder account site was no more than what I could obtain just looking into regular social media. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY OR TIME.... RIP OFF.... I CONSIDER WHAT THEY DID ILLEGAL.

 

I consider this internet abuse of customers and customer financial information.
