In simple terms, we feel in the trap of believing Allstate Cellular dealer that they have service coverage in Huntington Beach. Since we bought the service in San Diego for my brother-in-law usage in Huntington Beach, we couldn't return it before three days, and we kept waiting hours on the waiting to speak to a live agent. For those who dealt with this company know what I am talking about. Less than a month from having the service we decided to return the phone. We paid all our bills and charges even though we barely used the service.

When we returned it to their San Diego location, we made sure to disconnect the service while there. This meant holding on their lobby phone for over 45 minutes. We made sure that we were all set that that there will no penalties since their service was very poor. Then, we received a latter asking us to pay $400 because the phone was damaged. When we asked them to fax us the documentation we noticed that the original date, three days after we returned it, was crossed and replaced by the date I returned. Of course they couldn't forge our signatures so they left that field blank and stated that I dropped the phone very quickly that I didn't give them time to check the phone. Almost a year has past, and they are still after us to pay for damages that we did not cause. I guess that its their way of making money.. Guaranteeing services outside their area they find ways to make you pay for early termination.
