Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
I went for an interview at Alpha Development concepts, or Diversified Corporate Solutions, and they told me they have a new kind of marketing.

They said they like to be face to face with their clients.

Little did i know that they consider every person to be their client, and when they say face to face they mean they just walk into businesses all day long and try to sell them something.

I had a preliminary interview and thought everything was fine.

And then I got a second interview which was an entire day, 8-5, of walking into 40 different businesses with Erin, a 'marketing rep' who insisted that these companies switch to First Horizon, which is a company who offers 2% on each credit card swiped. Everytime a store owner told her they were busy, or that she had just walked in without asking or setting up an appointment, she kept pushing, and I was only able to offer a sympathetic smile to these poor people who were being invaded by the obnoxious sales persona of Alpha Development Concepts. She kept insisting that 'at least she wasnt a telemarketer because then they could just hang up'. I had to learn the four tactics for sales, fear of loss, indifference, and the others which i have forgotten due to my conscience. Dont interview there if you want to be able to be proud of what you do.

I Too interviewed with Alpha Development concepts awhile back only to discover that it was a complete scam. Now in reading my Schools job board I see that the The Former Alpha Development Concepts has tried to simply change names to Warren International and pull the same scheme wasting peoples time and energy. Not only are they at the same location they even have the same exact telephone number just a new name. What a messed up company. Dont waste your time with this company!!!

It either is or is not for you

Working with either ADC or DCS will either be for you or not. Yes, it is door to door marketing. Yes it is in your face solicitation. Does it work, if you have the right skills then yes. If not then no. They do give you plenty of hands on training and yes they do pay you while you are training. I worked with DCS from October through December and was starting to make better money, but unfortunately I could not pay my bills with what I was making. It is NOT a pyramid scheme. While there I worked with many great people and those with very outgoing personalities would be great for the job and probably make a lot of money. But if your not into meeting a bunch of new people and if your not willing to be told NO or to "Get Out" 9 out of 10 times then it's not the job for you. It is a true marketing company that represents First Horizon (ADC) and Hinkley Springs (DCS). If you couldn't make it in the business, that doesn't mean that others cannot. I highly suggest this position for a person right out of college, especially if you are outgoing. (Females have a better chance of making good money)

Thanks to all, particularly Ashley, who opened my eyes to the truth of ADC by means of this website. I was excited to learn of an opportunity with what I believed to be a respectable marketing firm a few weeks after earning my degree at Ball State University. I was quite intrigued by ADC this being my first job out of college. After my initial interview something didn't strike me right about the place and I decided to do a little research online as I could not identify what this place actually "does." Luckily I stumbled upon these postings by way of a Google search. I was made wise to their practices more by speaking with friends of mine familiar with other "pyramid schemes" with similar names. I have now found other more lucrative employment and am grateful to not have gotten any deeper in what is a very well disguised and executed scam. It's nothing more, and it's nothing less. By "hiring" you, the managers are making a sale themselves. And therein lies their motivation. Thanks to all of you, i'm much wiser than I was before. Take Care!

See how they CONTSTANTLY advertise for employment. It's because they can't keep people in the business. Which entails means a bad business and they don't know how to run a correct, moral business. They are all fakes. Don't be scamed by them!!! Don't trust them!!!

These scam jobs where you walk around and try to sell trash to businesses all day are nothing but frauds. You'll never make money.

Here's what to look for. They hire anybody that comes through the door. That's because people last less than a week. Actually, hire is the wrong word. You're an independent contractor. No salary. Straight commission. That's your first clue. No tax form is filled out when you get hired. DON'T get in a car and allow yourself to be driven away. All they'll do is drop you on the street and expect you to walk into businesses and sell trash. The people who do this make $10 a day or so. Next to nothing. Just enough to keep them from starving. This is definitely a dead-end con. There is only one way to make a buck at this. Load up as much trash as you can, then drive away and never come back.

I worked for this company back in August of 2005. They actually do have some good lessons and learning techniques but the overall "job" is worthless and a total scam. You go business to business, direct marketing tell business owners that they are being overcharged on credit card processing or their long distance phone bill. This company states that they will pay you for training but if you don't make any "sales" they don't pay you. They state that they will compensate you for driving, gas, food, and supplies while on the job by keeping receipts for the tax year but what they don't tell you is that you lose all that if you leave the company. I invested about $500 in gas, food, and professional business attire and I will not receive any back. This place is a total scam. They ARE telemarketers, no matter what Erin, Brandon, Carey, Samantha, Kourtney, Cornell, or Dawn, and Katy (all employees) have said. They are also SOLICITORS. They take customers money and leave them. Don't are very rude and aggressive!! Don't waste your time applying or interviewing with them unless you have no morals and liked to be scammed yourself. They CONSTANTLY advertise employment on monster.com and careerbuilder.com with so called "fancy" attention getters!! Be WARNED!!!! THEY ARE ALL OUT TO GET YOU!!!

No one speaks like that... if you're going to lie during your hiring practices I suppose it isn't that much of a moral strech to lie online now is it. Grow up, be honorable, and respond to you accusations in the first person not some fake thrid person. It's obvious that us being bounded by the truth gives us a disadvantage, simply becasue the company can just make up ficticious positive rebuttles.

I'm confused by your report. I have been out with Alpha Development Concepts as well on a full day interview... and was treated with a lot of respect... and also learned a lot from the representative there. After the full day interview the hiring manager and myself sat down and discussed the day. I was offered the position and have now been working there for over a month. Maybe you weren't looking for a training program like Alpha Development offers? Is it easy, cubicle, boring work? No way. Do we get tested, challenged and pushed on a daily basis? Yes... but that is making me grow and develop as an individual... which is what I look for in a training program.
