Hey everyone who is former employees of the mag crews. I just recently left the mag crew about 3 weeks ago. I just wanted to post for the girl that asked about cody a. He is doing wonderful and is better than ever his buisness is booming and actually just recently bought a mercedies bens idk if i spelt that right ha and it is sseeexxyyy lol. But I left the mag crew mainly because I didnt follow the rules I wasnt suppose to have a cell phone and I did (to those of you that are like WHAT NO CELL PHONE! THATS INSAINE Trust me there is a good reason as to why mag agents shouldnt have a cell phone especially while they are on territory it causes alot of problems like mine) One of the car handlers had gotten a phone call from a detective in los vegas about a missing persons report out for me I got worried because I love my parents dearly and i didnt want my mom worrying over me so I called her and looked at my cell phone not knowing that half of elizabethtown had been looking for me and when is started to read my txt messages and listened to all the voices mail i became very sad and all i wanted to do was go home so one day while i was on territory i tried to run away and got caught by another car handler who just happen to pass by the gas station i was hiding at. I am mainly writing this so that if one day cody reads this post I wanted to tell him how sorry I was for putting him out the way I did. I told him that I was pregnant and it was a lie just so i could leave with a good reason but I know he has probably heard that one before. I am terribly sorry for what I did to the crew and I want to thank you for giving me a chance to be on the crew it was a life time experience and one i will never forget thanks to you Cody. I know you would have done anything for your crew because they are your family and everything. You would have given me the shirt off your back if I needed it literally. I just wanted to apologize and please if you read this tell Darby I said hello, You probably wont because its personal lol. I love you cody your an awesome successful man and everyone should know that!!! GO ROADRUNNERS!!!

How long did you say you were on the road? About a year? Yea I was there a little more than 2. When I had been there only a year I was blind too. I was a the highball. People competed with me too. I got my 1000, my 1500 and my 2000 but only got the ring for my 1000. When I was only 1 year on the road I didn't see clearly what exactly was going on either. I too made some good friends there, some I'm still close to today. But I would never go back even if they all did. You were blinded from so much that was going on and you should consider yourself very fortunate.
I am happy that you made it home safely and that you are doing something positive with your life now while you're still young. You don't wanna wind up like Rene Ryan in your 30's with no work experience looking for a job during the recession. Another thing you don't know is all those people you looked up to and considered a friend would turn on you and beat the s#%t outta you if Brent gave them the signal. So just be glad you are not there anymore. You are the fortunate one, Don't ever look back and wish you were still there. Did I have some great times when I was there? Of course I did! But I also became aware of what was going on behind the scenes and didn't wanna be a apart of it.
What you didn't know is all that time you were out knocking doors, Brent was at the hotel doing drugs and plenty of other things you weren't allowed to do. He never went by his own rules. Was he a good canvasser? (BSing) A d**n good one!! He had been on the road since he was a kid he had a lot of time to get good at his game. You think he is a good person but the truth is he is a piece of s**t that didn't give a rats a*s about your welbeing. He only treated you good because you put the money in his pocket with all those sales you were writing. Of course he wanted you to stay happy and motivated. And the money Cheryl gave you and told you to have a better day tomorrow. Brent gave that to her. It was but a small peice of the money you made him that day you had what you would call a bad day.

I was on crew 15, Shak ( matt) LOL was my trainer. I was on in 2002 for about a year. I never scammed anyone, but I had knocked over people, and they were never given the yellow copy and never told to send in the balance. And I have seen people get mad at a potential customer, and tell them that "Out" is an outdoors magazine, when it is an alternative lifestyle magazine. But my life is better now because I learned alot on the road. I now own a cab company, and a clothing store. If any former road runners would like to contact me, feel free to do so. (((ROR redacted))) I knew Mike Ball Mike Blue Billy and Eva Floyd and Normandy Janet (matts trainer) Danielle (broke billy and eva up) Wow brings back alot of great memories. Like many others on Ripoff Report, I had a pretty good experience with Lonnie Divine's crews. And like many others I've often wondered about all my old friends, and wished there was some way to find them. This is the first place I've seen so many roadrunners (usually any ex mag crew presence on the web is from some other group) in one place! After reading through the threads that were linked to youth of america etc. , I decided to start a forum (something I've thought about doing in the past) just for old roadrunners. I don't think I can post a link here, but it's road runner mag crew dot pro boards, hope to hear from some of you there! I was on the road from early 96 to late 97, with Lonnie, Cody, and Rutan. Reading all these threads has brought back memories, I had forgotten about Tammy C. she was funny (especially when she had to take a vehicle to the mechanics, learned some good tips from her, hehe). I agree that things weren't always above the board with them, the whole tax fraud deal was bad news, but there are plenty of big businesses (and better known) out there that are probably a ton more fraudulent. Folding could have been dealt with better, most of us just get ready to leave the road at some point, not everyone wants to become a manager. I definitely think that my time on the road was a positive and educational experience. I gained a lot of confidence and people skills, things that have benefited me in all of my endeavors. Being on the road isn't for everyone, but for those that are interested I'd recommend this company at least, in fact I've often thought that it would be interesting to sit on their ads. Does anyone know what became of Cody A.? We kept in touch for a couple years after I left but we lost contact about 6 yrs ago. I know he had some health problems, hope he is ok.

Well, 1st of all, Matt ISN'T a manager. Sorry to tell you Heather, yes the company scams, not just it's agents or it's managers. I know you had a good time on the road so I won't ruin your fond memories of the truth, maybe one day I'll tell my own story on here.
