I will start by telling a little bit about my self. My name is Antonette ****, I was Married  for 26 years and have a Daughter now 22 years old. I lost my husband 09/06/02009 after battling with cancer for 10 years. I Re finance my house June of 2009 to pay for medical bills, and file for Bankruptcy  Feb, 2010 do to financial difficulties with medical bills. After that with difficulty I manage to keep up with bills until my hours got cut from where I have worked for 15 years an In Nov, 2010 my former Boss  give me web sight to try and get a Home Modification done It was Called  the American Residential Law Group from Florida, and the name of  person handling my case Was Mr. Nashan Ruff . He told me in order for me to qualify   I have to be behind on payments and to miss 3 payments and pay them  $1,499.00 to get it started witch I did.

In Feb, of 2011, I received a letter saying the company is closing down so I called immediately and spoke to Mr. Ruff. He told me that even though the American Residential Law Group is closing down they are still going to continue on the customers they have already and that he will be taking over my case to his company called Palm Beach Consultant  Law Firm . After missing the 3 payments I send in my monthly payment for my mortgage and was refused , Mr. ruff assured me that it was  normal when doing a Modification and that they will just add it to the end of the terms of my mortgage and not to worry.

I have Called Bank of America My lender and told them about it and let them know that Mr. Ruff is working for me and gave them permission to talk with him in my behalf. Then Mr. Ruff  started to call me like every other month and ask for money saying that in order for to keep the foreclose he have to pay another lawyer. I continue to send him money until Feb of 2012, I told him that I am not going to give him any more money and that this is taking to long and I want it to finish. I called Bank of America and explain my situation. I did not know what els to do so I went to the Senators  Office and a verry kind and a wonderfull lady helped me to prospond the forclosher.

I have tryied to get a hold of Mr Ruff for monthes and he called me 15 of july 2012 and said he is still working on it not to worry and for me to give him more money i told him no . He called me again July 29 2012 and said that if i dont give him any more money he will not be responcible for loosing my house and that i will go without a hose in 30 days.  I told him that he has done enough and put me and my family in danger  alrady im not giving any more money to him, he got mad and started to Threatened  me . Today Aug, 5th 2012 he called me and Threatened me more and when I hanged up on him he sent me nasty tex masages and left a voice mail on my phone.

You were denied your modification because you got laid off your job. Mr Ruff informed that you do not mention that you are un-employed to your mortgage company (BOA). Instead Ms Weller informed bank of American that she had lost her job and they could no longer afford to pay her. No bank CANNOT modification a mortgage if the home owner is not recieving any income at all and unemployed. Once BOA was informed by Ms Weller that she was unemployed, they immediately denied her modification. Ms Weller called PBFC daily screaming and crying, Mr Ruff explained everything in detail why her modification was denied. Ms Weller did not care to listen at all. Mr Ruff did everything that he could do to keep her from receiving a date of sale, but everyone knows that BOA is not the easiest bank to work with. BOA refused to take any action of asisting MsWeller once they know she had no income coming in. As far as the consultant fee, Mr Ruff normally charges $1500 and up depending on the balance of the mortgage once the file has gone into review with the underwriter. Ms Weller was only charged $800 for her consultant fee. PBFC is not a modification company nor a law firm or group, they are a consultant firm that teaches home owners how to correctly apply for a modification from finish to end. The home owner submits all documents and PBFC walks them through the entire process. Ms Weller was very aware of that, PBFC tried ton calm her down, she had people calling in to PBFC making bomb threats, we had to call the police and file reports and at the end of the day we still tried to assist her but she would not coroperate.o
