You were denied your modification because you got laid off your job. Mr Ruff informed that you do not mention that you are un-employed to your mortgage company (BOA). Instead Ms Weller informed bank of American that she had lost her job and they could no longer afford to pay her. No bank CANNOT modification a mortgage if the home owner is not recieving any income at all and unemployed. Once BOA was informed by Ms Weller that she was unemployed, they immediately denied her modification. Ms Weller called PBFC daily screaming and crying, Mr Ruff explained everything in detail why her modification was denied. Ms Weller did not care to listen at all. Mr Ruff did everything that he could do to keep her from receiving a date of sale, but everyone knows that BOA is not the easiest bank to work with. BOA refused to take any action of asisting MsWeller once they know she had no income coming in. As far as the consultant fee, Mr Ruff normally charges $1500 and up depending on the balance of the mortgage once the file has gone into review with the underwriter. Ms Weller was only charged $800 for her consultant fee. PBFC is not a modification company nor a law firm or group, they are a consultant firm that teaches home owners how to correctly apply for a modification from finish to end. The home owner submits all documents and PBFC walks them through the entire process. Ms Weller was very aware of that, PBFC tried ton calm her down, she had people calling in to PBFC making bomb threats, we had to call the police and file reports and at the end of the day we still tried to assist her but she would not coroperate.o
