American Auto Dealers LLC Shady dealership sells faulty cars Holly Hill Florida
I recently purchased a car from Jake at this dealership in Daytona, Florida and greatly regret ever dealing with these people. They advertise on Cargurus.com which I have tried to leave a review there but they will not recognize my number, which is very smart if you want to pick and choose your reviews. The car was seemingly in good conndition but within days of driving it there was a light that went off. Usually I wouldn't think too much of it but I just got this car. I brought it to a mechanic. They said the water pump has a leak and needed to be totally replaced. They said that he basically filled it just enough for me to get the car home before I realized there was a problem. When they did a full inspection, they found that the brakes were totally shot and that someone had GLUED them together. The mechanic said in all his years he has never seen that and he's old. Also, they had used zip ties to hold parts of the car together!! Sketchier still was the dealership. The number they gave me was fake we literally drove to the dealership and it was closed. The sign outside with the hours printed on it had been smudged off. So basically no one an know how to get in contact with them or when they're even open. $2,000 in repairs later and only a week into buying the car is it now driveable. PLEASE do not my mistake of doing business with these people.
