They advertise wealth and "Delivering on the Promises" but that's all lies. I paid $95.00 to become a broker, sent off for the specials such as the $500 cupon book, and enrolled new clients. I got nothing. It was a total waste, I didnt recieve the advanced comissions promised, cupon book, or anything (except for SPAM in my Email).

I used the "discount prescription card" on a prescription and it only saved me $3 off of $60, unlike the advertised 30%-60% off. Definatly not worth it.

I would advise anyone that gets any advertisement from this company, usually stuck on tour car in a parking lot, not to call the phone number. If you do, even if you don't leave your PH# with them, they will call you back from their caller ID and do so about once a month till you finally give in and join.

P.S. they will only give you $40 of the $95 back if you return the "Broker Package" unopened and postage paid, again.

It takes work

I agree with Brian. To be a broker with Ameriplan USA it takes work and a drive to do well. I think that the person who made this claim probably came into contact with some of the problems they stated but made a mountain out of a mole hill on others. I have been a broker for two weeks and have only made one sale to date. This is not because of Ameriplan not supporting me because my sponser has contacted me several times in the last two weeks and has been very supportive. it is because I am currently in the Navy as well as doing this at home, I don't have all the time I would like to spend with my buisness. I assure you and anyone who is thinking about joining Ameriplan's team, it is a honest and profitable buisness (if you are willing to put in the work to get it there). I also have the coverage with my broker package and I got a pair of glasses for about 16 dollars; that's a savings of about 10 dollars as the frames were marked $25.00 before tax. The insurance works and the buisness can give you financial freedom if you work at it.

Undereducated Brokers?

To be a broker with AmeriPlan, must you be unable to spell correctly? It seems that what ALL the brokers (including OP) have in common is they can't spell correctly. I am not familiar with this business, but brokers, do you have to do any sort of written presentations? Please, use spell check before posting. You might find that you do better with your business if you become better educated.

Ameriplan USA truly does deliver on the promise

I have been a broker for Ameriplan USA for three months and have had nothing but a good experience with the company. They have delivered on every promise made. All of the web sites they promised where up and running within minutes of signing up. I sent in for my $500.00 coupon book and recieved it within a week. I sent away for my Office Depot discount card and recieved it in a week. I was paid every penny of the commissions I earned within days of making the sales. Infact I made over $1100.00 my first week in the business and recieved every cent of it in a very timely mannor. I worked the business plan as I was instructed to do and achieved my first promotion in less than a month. I will recieve my second promotion as promised at the Ameriplan leadership conference in Los Angeles California next week. I have not recieved one piece of email let alone spam from the company. The only emails I have recieved is from the other brokers I work with and all those emails are personel communications. Ameriplan does not promise that all presciptions get a discount. In Fact they tell you up front that some presciption drugs are not covered. however this is very rare. I am a diabetic and without the Ameriplan benefits would pay $285.00 for all my medications and testing supplies. With the Ameriplan benefits card I now only pay a total of $108.25 for all my maintainance presciptions and blood testing supplies. Ameriplan has been nothing but good to me and everyone that I know who is envolved with Ameriplan. They are a upstanding reputable company in good standing with the Better Business Buereu. They have been featured on Maurry Saffer's (from 60 minutes) PBS shows American Medical Review and American Business Review Four times. Ameriplan USA is dedicated to providing affordable health care to Americans who other wise would not be able to afford any Health care at all. And they are dedicated to changing the lives and the finances of thier brokers and corporate employees lives for the better. I would personelly recomend Ameriplan as a discount benefits plan or a business oppertunity to my own mother, grandmother, and my own children. In fact I enrolled my oldest son as a broker last week. I'm sorry to hear that this individual didn't have a good experience with AmeriPlan. Unfortunately, I don't share the same feeling. Having only been with AmeriPlan for a year now, I have always received money for the people I enrolled. This individual obviously didn't put his broker number on the brochures or may have just assumed that someone signed up on his website. It is really ashamed that some people think that AmeriPlan would just start sending them checks without a little effort on their part. I find it interesting that if AmeriPlan is such a rip-off as some on this board have suggested, then why are there over 1.7 million people enrolled and 70,000+ Brokers involved in an organization that has been around for over a decade. Also, a note about his "$3 drug discount". AmeriPlan specifically states that some drugs are already discounted at the Pharmacy level and may not be subject to a discount at the time of purchase. I just signed up a member who was a former member (over 5 years ago) specifically for the prescription plan because she claimed that they paid for the plan over and over with just one refill on her husbands prescription. As for the coupon book, they do send them out, but not right away. I received mine a couple of months after enrollment. This person also failed to read the Broker agreement upon enrollment. There is no 30 day guarantee on broker fee's. I'm not sure about him, but I always read agreements when it comes to big purchase items or long term commitments. I guess there are people out there that actually go into business for themselves and don't read about what they are actually doing.

Just your opinion

I have been a broker for AmeriPlan for over 6 months now, and have enjoyed every moment of it!For starters, the coupon book is upon request only. In your broker kit there is a booklet of the "Broker Benefits Guide" and in the back is a card that you mail in to the company, requesting the coupon booklet. I requested mine bout a week ago, and received it in the mail 5 days later. I am looking forward to getting MY $500 worth of coupons! Discounts on Rx are not as written in stone like most of our dental fees. A majority of prescriptions are already suggnificantly discounted at the pharmacy level, therefore, the PHARMACY is only able to discount it a little more. I think you should definatly do a little more checking into things before set out on your warpath against a great company!
