Amerisave seemed to be our lifesaver. Having bought my house alone in 2005 with an adjustable rate mortgage, little did I know how devasting that would become.

My fiance and I found Amerisave and yes we qualified for a FHA fixed rate mortgage. All our debts would be rolled ino the mortgage and we would close soon. My fiance has 0 credit so we went scrambling to add him to my utilities bills. Everything was all set.

I gave Marcel Fombrun my cc for the $395 which would NOT be charged and the next step was for the appraiser. I haven't heard from Marcel for 3-4 days now. He doesn't answer phone, return any calls or emails.

I called the main number and got another loan advisor who couldn't explain this. As we talked more she finally said if no return call or emails that usually means no loan.

I couldn't believe what I was hearing. I asked how can that be when we got loan papers and have already been approved. Not so, they tell you that.

I have been trying to get ahold of some higher up but guess what? No other phone numbers or emails.

This is totally devasting to me, to lead us on like that is horrible. I can't tell you how much stress this put on me after I was told these facts. Of course she couldn't help because I all ready had a loan advisor.

My suggestion to any one considering Amerisave DON'T!!!! You'll not only get high blood pressure but you won't get the loan.

I think they are fraudulant and advertisement is false. My cc better not be charged!!!

Finally got an answer for the reason of no return phone calls or emails, it was due to a family emergency. Ummm where was the Manager? We had our appraisal that came in at $10k less than the one just under 90 days in Aug. We were all set to close on Sept 9th BUT they didn't like the appraisal and had another one ordered and done within a 2 week period and that one came in at $5k less. We were told that most likely they will use the first one but it needs to go back to review. Almost a week passes with no return calls or emails (this is the norm for them). Finally today we get a return call only after leaving a third message to him that stated do I need to get an Attorney? The only way now we can close is to go to a closing with $3k! I couldn't believe what I was hearing! He knew that the closing costs were to be included but because they went with the 2nd appraisal that was all they could do and of course he said that they cut their fees just to get us a loan (1st & 2nd combined)! Marcel told me that he was not a broker but a lender h*o untrue that was as he is a broker!!!! There is not enough space to list all the phone calls and the promises to get right back to us to list them all here! Because of their delays and unprofessional business practices we are out a refinance. Almost 90 days (9/28/08) to get this thing done, we started the process 6/28/08. I personally think that if you are in a high adjustable rate and have bills that you want to include to get back on track, they get off putting the screws to you! I am putting in a formal complaint against this company to prevent this from happening to someone else. 9o days is totally unacceptable!!! They keep you hanging with you are approved just a few more days or it's still in review! Yeah right. These people work out of their homes so where is the management and customer service? I winder what kind of education they have? They certainly don't have any customer service skills! This company is nothing but BS and they haven't heard the last from me. Don't use this company and stay away from Marcel Frombrun! Next time I will use a local lender and will gladly pay a higher rate to refinance than to go through this unprofessional BS again!!!
