Ameritrust Financial Credit Card Scam ripoff Clearwater Florida
I have received about a hundred calls back from these people after the initial call where they stated they can provide a high balance, low interest rate credit card to me for the purpose of rebuilding credit.
The lady at Ameritrust was verifying my banking information and then asked me my bank account number over the phone!
I politely informed her that I would not be giving my account information over the phone, but if she could send the information to me through the mail I would look it over....
Next thing I hear is a "click" and a dead line. She's no doubt got a whole list of people in front of her and is off to scam someone else.
These people are preying on the un-informed. NEVER give your personal information over the phone or internet. I immediately searched for Ameritrust on ripoffreport.com and found several victims to this scam. Unbelievable that they get away with this!
