Amoma.com Sold hotel room on internet that did not exist Internet
I purchased a hotel room in San Diego a month in advance , to be used on Valentines day and also Presidents day weekend. I got my voucher from AMOMA.com and figured everything was good to go. We arrived at the hotel on the night booked and found no reservation made. LaQuinta looked into their system and my name was not booked at any of their locations. They called the number on the voucher provided by AMOMA.com and went to hold music. The staff called them several times and waited on phone for 20 minutes.
They told me they had never heard of AMOMA and that other booking companies will answer right away and resolve issues that arise. They advised me that the hotel was fully booked and we could not find a room elsewhere. We had to drive home that night over a 100 miles and all of our plans in San Diego for that weekend ruined , thanks to this shoddy company. I wish i had looked at all the bad comments about this company before using them but it had come up on a search for the room. Be very careful when you get sent to a site or company that you are not familiar with. I have used (((competitor's name redacted))) and (((redacted))) and never had any issues.
