Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

So this is about one of the biggest Fraud companies in the world, Amway. Recently, in India, Amway officals were caught in fraud and company was fined about $150 dollars. Now coming back to the main point, about Amway USA. This company boasts of sharing their profits by making people (also known as "Independent Business Owner") sell their products.

The company conducts conferences in Houston, where all the fools who join Amway and want to join Amway (Me!), listen to the speakers who talk about their experiences. These 'speakers' claim 'earning 5 figure dollars' through Amway and 'crying' about their 'struggle' in life while working for Amway. They will also explain about the basics of how they do business so as to make people fool!

Now the worst part is the way they increase their business base. The fools who are already a part of Amway, tend to increase their profits by convincing other people to join under their name. Two such people are Sandeep Kamani and Somesh Soni. These two bastards primarily target university or college towns because it is easier to fool new incoming students (especially international). They basically tell you that they have a 'new business plan' to talk about. They will start by explaining the whole concept of Amway and how they are 'better than Walmart, BestBuy'. They will talk about the 'extraordinary growth' of the company. They claim to make you 'Rich'. This Sandeep Kamani b*****d said to me 'If you listen to me, I will teach you how to make so much money'.

Basically, when new students (especially indians, and asians) arrive new to the US, these bastards tend to send friend requirests on facebook to those they think could be easily fooled. They don't talk Amway as yet. They try to build a FAKE relationship with these students, by frequently calling them, and asking about how they are doing, and letting them know that they can help, just in case. When these students arrive to the US totally fresh, not knowing anything at all about this country initially, these Amway agents (Sandeep Kamani, Somesh Soni and many others) within a space of a week call them twice or thrice, and quite often invite them to the 'conference' in Houston, Dallas, and other cities. (This Sandeep Kamani b*****d once suggested me to accompany him to a conference on the West Coast or somewhere afar, and pay him about $250 dollars for the same, which he called a very small amount for an enjoyable trip). Once you attend these conferences, they tell you not to 'tell anybody' about it and that people will 'say false things' to you and 'mislead' you about this 'business plan'. So, to make sure that these fools dont run away, these bastards try get money from you as soon as possible. They tell you they are in a hurry, and tell you that there is a "money back guarantee" after three months if you wish to discontinue, which is a total lie. And how much money are they asking for?? $10?? $50?? $100?? NO!! A whopping $169. They will generally do this transaction at your home if you are alone or at a food outlet. And note that this food outlet is never crowded. NEVER! You wont see any other person there except you fool and that b*****d(s). This Sandeep Kamani guy is such a DOOSHBAG, and his intentions are very clear. He also asks you to buy Amway products worth atleast $50-100 monthly, which is really high for a student. This Sandeep Kamani bugger also uses Amway products in front of you to convince you that Amway is real. He also asks you to use Amway products in front of others to fool them. What a Bugger this guy is and many others like Somesh Soni.

Such an unethical guy this Sandeep Kamani is. He lives in Houston and a big bugger. I wish I could punch his face. After I got fooled, I realized why this bugger was so good to me initially (even before I was coming the US).

I am more of a neutral guy, I have been part of Amway for a while and attended conferences also so I have an idea how it works. Now I am not involved with them anymore as some personal challenges threw me off....but this guy has just written insane stuff. He probably has never owned a business or doesnt know how one is run. Reason I am writing a reply is I also did not make much money just like this dude, but I ain't gonna blame Amway or the people who were helping me. Let's see if I can make it as funny as his post.

----------

"Mommy, I am so dumb, someone ripped me off. Can I have some of your breastmilk please? I need some brains. I wanted to get rich in a month without doing anything. But No....these people, actually had the guts to be willing to train a dumbass like me. You know me mummy I am SO DUMB. But I want to be Rich mummy."

"I am a poor student mummy...poor poor me. I only paid 40,000$ to go to school to get a masters degree. My school never gave me a guarantee saying I will get a job. These guys are asking a poor poor student like me 169$ so I can get a business website, and lot of products. Can you believe mummy? I want to be rich but 169$ is too much mummy. Cops give me 200$ ticket for speeding mummy."

"You know mummy, I was so happy spending 400$ every month in Walmart. Their owners are so good mummy. Their kids are so Rich mummy. I want to see them rich mummy, so I will buy 400$ every month mummy, how can someone say Walmart does not have high quality products mummy. I love walmart mummy. And can you believe what these guys suggested me? Buy products from my own website!! Such idiots they are. Does not make business sense mummy. I will not go to Papa's shop. I will go to my Papa's competitors shop. Why should I buy toothpaste from my website and spend 100$ in my own website? Too much mummy. I am a poor student. I want to continue to be that way mummy, so I can cry."

"People get fooled mummy. They say products are good quality mummy. There are so many demo videos on youtube mummy. But I AM SMARTY PANTS mummy. I will not watch those. So I can complain about Amway. I love walmart mummy"

"You know mummy, they told me Money Back Guarantee mummy. But I am a genius. You know what I did. I did not believe it. If I believed it, i could have called amway and got my money back. BUT NO!!! I chose not to do that so I can complain in this website. Thank you mummy, i know you are proud of me :D "

"Mummy, Sachin Tendulkar's speech was so AWESOME mummy...made me cry. What a story of struggle and victory. I love inspiratinal movies mummy, i cry there also. But Amway people, I dont like theiry story mummy, because I get so jealous that they drive better cars than me. I will never believe that I can drive those cars mummy. All those people are bad bad people, because they drive nice cars. Sachin Tendulkar drives ferrari...but thats different mummy."

"I went to florida for a trip with my friends mummy, it was sooo much fun for ONLY 500$ trip. I will send you pictures I took with my 200$ iPhone-11z. And these Amway people are inviting me to conference where I can learn from multi-millionaires...and whole trip 250$!!! I am a poor student mummy. This is just like a Black man's left butt, it ain't right and it aint fair."

"Oh Best part I forgot to mention only mummy. These Amway people help students in general. But again mummy, I am your son, you know I am a dumb-a*s. I never trust people. So although they helped me and guide me, since my friend told me these people are fake, I will believe it. These Amway people drive to my place to help me talk to others (by spending 20$ to 40$ in gas money each time). I know they are taking advantage of me. I havent spent 40 cents also mummy. I am such a smart guy, my friend gave me free advise, I took it."

"Lastly mummy, I will not tell these Amway people the truth, i will not tell them I have questions/doubts/concerns. I will just put my tail between my legs and run away so I can make a post like this."

----------

Come on people. I am assuming You are adults. Amway is a 'business', you have to learn & work towards marketing products. Give it a try. When I was in business, people tried, and some of them discontinued within 3 months and got back their money as well. Trying yourself is MUCH BETTER, you never know. I learnt so much from the trainings that it still helps me in my job and in my life. So nothing to lose.

Wish you all Good Luck.

I am telling you after I signed up he asked me to buy Amway products for myself, so that I get some points!!

Basically, when new students (especially indians, and asians) arrive new to the US, these people tend to send friend requiests on facebook to those they think could be easily fooled. They don't talk Amway as yet. Recently, I received an arbitrary friend request from Somesh Soni, another amway agent looking to expand his network. But he didn't remember I already met him at one of the conferences.

Such an unethical guy this Sandeep Kamani is. He lives in Houston and a big bugger. The way he conducts his business is very unethical and unacceptable. After I got fooled, I realized why this Kamani was so good to me initially (even before I came to the US).

The amway story rebuttal

#5Consumer Comment

I am not sure how I ended up here but the story is misguiding.

First of all, Amway has been in business for more than 50 years and The FTC has declared in 1979 that it is a legal business model.

"Recently, in India, Amway officals were caught in fraud and company was fined about $150 dollars". What is source for that? It is true that Amway officials were arrested but the case is still pending. The company was not fined. At same time some respected people like Sachin Pilot of corporate affairs condemned the arrest. May be a distributed has cheated someone, but there is no proof that Amway CEO was inolved in that.

The article claims that people who do Amway business are fooling people. Fooling in what way? What is wrong about conducting conferences and sharing business opportunity?

"These 'speakers' claim 'earning 5 figure dollars' through Amway and 'crying' about their 'struggle' in life while working for Amway." What is wrong about speaking of their experiences. Don't you put your claims in the resume and try to sell yourself in an interview for a job? God knows how much of what you put is true.

"They will talk about the 'extraordinary growth' of the company. They claim to make you 'Rich'." Nobody claims to make you rich. If they did that thats wrong. They only talk about earning extra money.

"Now the worst part is the way they increase their business base. The fools who are already a part of Amway, tend to increase their profits by convincing other people to join under their name". What is the problem with that? The person below can earn more money than the person above.

"This Sandeep Kamani b*****d once suggested me to accompany him to a conference on the West Coast or somewhere afar, and pay him about $250 dollars for the same". So he told the amount upfront. He did not tell you after the conference was over. It is your choice to go or not.

"tell you that there is a "money back guarantee" after three months if you wish to discontinue, which is a total lie.". If you say the money back guarantee is a lie then you are lying. Amway gives 180 day money back guarantee on its products and 90 day money back guarantee on business registration.

"how much money are they asking for?? $10?? $50?? $100?? NO!! A whopping $169". So $169 is a big money to start a business? How much money do you think it costs to start a McDonald's? And do you know that the people under whom you started will be spending their money and time to help you?

"This Sandeep Kamani bugger also uses Amway products in front of you to convince you that Amway is real". What do you mean tryng to convince? If the products are not good do you think anyone will use it live?

"He also asks you to use Amway products in front of others to fool them." After reading all this it appears you are the biggest fool

I personally don't know the guys who you are talkinga about, but it seems you are spreading negative about Amway in general. There might be instances where people have done the business in unethical ways. Amway posts guidelines on what to do and what not to do. It can't keep a cam or mic on everybody and observe what they are doing.

There is no force whatsoever in Amway business. If you are not interested say it upfront. The business model they show in the meeting is approved by FTC. The FTC conducted about 5year investigation on Amway during the 70s. So don't think you are so smart to discover something about the business.
