Took 3/4 ton truck for repair and 4-horse trailer for inspection. Quoted $600 for repair (including new brakes, tie rods, and exhaust system) and said trailer was fine for inspection.

Charged me $1,200 for repair work on truck and $200 for trailer inspection.

Truck work = new front brakes - but didn't bleed them completely nearly causing me to wreck when the brakes went out - fortunately I knew to stop the truck (not going fast) with the trailer brakes. Tie rods - replaced but didn't reset the front end - causing the truck to veer off the first uneven piece of road I found. Oil change and topping of all fluids, but after getting home I checked and found the transmission and power steering fluids were below the do not drive line. Replaced "bad" battery cables - it was the battery that was bad.

on both vehicles "aired up all tires" - 2 off side trailer tires were at 25psi - and the truck tires were at 35psi (instead of 75).

Trailer - charged the $200 for -- putting reflection tape on the sides and a new running light cover (no authorization for either). Greasing the jack was listed to do, but forgot the handle gears. Replaced the break-a-way as it was "bad", but didn't remove the bird nest 3" from the break-a-way that was shorting the wires -

Refused to negotiate the repair bill - brakes was an "oopsie", fluids must have a "leak", can't figure out why the tires were low - must be a leak, battery checked out fine....can't think why it died. 100% higher bill than quoted was another "oopsie"--

Finally let them sue me in municipal court - bill reduced to $800 - but these people are really dangerous and not at all remorseful - only ticked at me for thinking they should have done better work.

Especially since they inspected the truck only to have the brakes fail immediately. In the end cost me almost $1800 to pay them plus have all their work checked and finished, plus the real problems fixed, not to mention the hassle involved.

The only reason I didn't kill my self in a very bad wreck was due to my own driving skills and the only reason my truck engine wasn't ruined was due to my own knowledge of how my engine should sound - so I checked the fluids.
