Found ad on Craigslist to do floors claiming to be licensed, the man showed up to get the job done and seemed professional, polite, nice new truck with company logo on it etc. One odd thing was he didn't state he wanted cash each day after doing some work however at the end of each day asked for cash which I did pay. However once I was able to walk on the floors after they dried I noticed areas that weren't done at all (closet, trim near door and a spot near my fireplace), other areas thick and darker and areas he just went right over with stain like on my floor outlets, tiles and trim where he didn't even tape. There was also trash left in my fireplace and on my porch. Initially he did the wrong color (supposed to be much darker) once I stated my concern he did a darker color with Polyshades and 3 days later it is literally peeling right up just from walking on the floor so you can see 2 different colors. There is also stain all over my tile in my entry way along with where my fireplace is and on my porch. I did bring up the issues and he said he would come back, finish the job, add another coat and clean up the mess where stain is on everything however 2 months later he doesn't answer my calls and won't come back. I also explained to him I don't want to have to go to court I would rather the job just get finished properly however his response was “Please go ahead. I’ll see you in court then …” The following day I filed a small claims complaint and we will be going to court. I notified him of the court date and time and his reply was “I will not see anyone before I receive any summon…” so I’m assuming he’s going to dodge court. No one has time for this in their lives we all have much better things to do I just cannot accept someone out here producing this type of work and expecting it to be ok. I work HARD for my money and will not let this go.

This customer is a jailbird. She asked to put polyshade against expert opinion. The area was dust contained by professionals but her and her kids kept going in and out and caused all kind of dust sit on a wet floor. Non paying customer with bad records even with the law. Tried to rip me off but couldn't do it. She apparently threatened me to file a small claim and i said i respected the law and wouln't go anywhere unless i receive something from the court. Search eko n james in internet and you'll find all kinds of mugshots and dui and non payment records under her name. i'm an honest hard working man and won't let her ruin my reputations. i always issue receipts after payments and she doesn't have any cause she never paid, i'll file a claim on that and maybe put a lien against her property.
