Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

They tell you to use both products together, the offer I found Supposedly free sample, you pay shipping, they have your credit card, you don't know you will be charged $89.97 until it hits your credit card.

Reading news on-line I found the offer of free samples of the skin care products Skin Revive and Nuvoderm Novo Gold to be used together for maximum power of skin rejuvenation. I signed up for both, of course giving credit card for shipping. Skin Revive came with a broken lid, and Novo Gold never did arrive, but rest assured, both shipping charges showed up.

I called in at one point about that lack of Novo Gold, but bigger issue was the hit of seeing $89.97 charged on my credit card for the Skin Revive. I never had time to try it, much less try the two of them together. I called the company and was told to send back my sample and they would credit the $89.97 back to me. No one knew anything about the Novo Gold. Half the time you get a foreign person you can barely understand or else someone very rude. I sent back my sample and only then did I see on some paperwork, little tiny print telling me I'd be charged $89.97 for "membership". So I was out both shipping, another shipping product back and the $89.97. I might have recovered one shipping charge with Discover's help.

I disputed this with Discover card and they investigated. This company had pages of lies about their supposed justified actions and interactions with me and my supposed satisfaction with the product I was enjoying. Right, like I had nothing but the bill to pay. Novo Gold would have cost $97.97 or some such and I supposed I was lucky that something fell thru with that transaction. These people track down your computer address and have their scam down to a science to catch you in this time thing, that you don't know what's coming and you have no time to try anything before they are are charging your credit card.  I see many people reported similar scams and I suppose I am lucky to have escaped with so little (ha!) damage. I will not quit b******* about this to every avenue I can find.  Beware of this popular scam -"free trial."  Like hell it's free.
