Anytime Fitness-Sky Hawk, Santa Rosa, CA -Gina Wright-Manager Hostile, racist, rude and unprofessional Santa Rosa California
Anytime Fitness located in Santa Rosa, CA-Skyhawk is being run by Ms. Gina Wright. Ms. Wright is very rude, beligerent and has a problem with children and hispanics. Ms. Wright has recently become a manager at this facitlity. I entered a contract and have a membership with this facility. I asked and was granted permission from Matt, who previously was the manager if I could have my son 12 years of age work out with me. I even offerred for him to become a member. I was granted this permission.
Come in Ms. Wright. I went to this faciltiy a few weeks ago. Ms. Wright told me that my son could not work out with me and that he was not old enough. She even went on to say that there is California State Laws that prohibit my son from working out with me in the facility. I informed her that I had permissoin from Matt. She went to far as to call Matt, who apparently no longer worked there on his cell phone. He informed her that he in fact did grant me permission. She said she felt uncomfortable witih me having my son at the facility.
Several days passed and I spoke to Pam, who apparently is one of the owners there. I told her what has transpired. She said so long as my son was not a nuissance and under my supervision that it would be no problem for him to workout with me.
Today, I went in and Ms. Wright was there again. She told me that she immediately text the owners and that once again she was uncomfortable with my son working out with me at the gym. At this point it became personal. She will not allow my son to work out there period. Not either she does not like the color of my skin and is a racist or she has some weird problem with hispanic men.
I proceeded to work out with my son. We finished and left. Few hours later I recieved a phone call on my cell phone from Ms. Gina Wright who told me that they would refund my $40.00 membership. In other words they were going to cancel my membership. She also refused to give me any contact information so that I can either speak to the owners of even e-mail the owners.
What a disgusting lady. I like the gym, but she is really mean, cruel and rude. She even got verbally hostile in front of my son. My son felt like the oddball out. He couldn't believe that she called me on my cell phone while I was having lunch with him.
Do yourself a favor, don't join this particular gym. And if your Hispanic or look Hispanic, GOOD LUCK!!!

Wow. Rant much? Got anger? I'm a member of the Skyhawk Anytime Fitness. I really like this gym and I like the people that work there. Obviously this person has a major issue. Not saying that they don't have a reason for it but come on. Is this kind of review necessary.
