AOL ripoff dihonest fraudulent billing, without authorization ripoff thieves Michigan Ann Arbor Michigan
Aol has been charging me for some moths of internet usage which i did not request. i had a free trial for 45 days and then called to cancel, they offered free months and i said no, yet they still gave me free months, then my sister was charged so we both decided to call, then i canceled again, this was in jan.
then on feb and march i was charged without me even knowing, so i called and requested a money back and they retured one month, i left it like that and next month i was charged again, i was furious and called again and told them theat i had cancelled, the good thing is that i had written down a confirmation number and i told it to them with the date i had cancelled and they started to yell at me and so i decided to say that i would sue them and the fricking rude guy hung up the phone.
i called again and spoke to someone else and explained the situation and he said that he couldn't help me because i had used the internet thing, and it was a complete lie cause we don't even have AOL at home since DECEMBER 2002. so i told them to send me usage. thye did and no where did it state that i ever used it. so then i called again and told them and they said that i was lying and i said that i was recording everything and agian they hung up.
i called again and tried to control my anger and spoke to a guy who said i had never cancelled an account and that they can't return any money and then he transffered me to cancelleation and the person there said that i have a note on my account that i can't be retured any money and that my account should be cancelled immediately.
so there you go don't trust those liars and thieves. they stole almost $150. from me and just take it from you without you even knowing, and don't plan on returning anything to you ever!!!!!!!!!! But let them rot in hell and go bankrupt for being thieves, eventhough i know the system is so twisted and nothing will be done, i just hoped that this wouldn't happen to anyone else, check your bills
