It is my personal opinion from the experience from A&R Sales Auto Dealer, and Rob Strouth- Owner, That this company has a three-ringed scam against the public. The leader of the pack is Rob Strouth (Aka Robbie Glen Strouth #001992344), his wife Amy Lynn Strouth (#012407506), and the mechanic who does all the repair work for A&R Sales.
My wife and I, along with my three children/young adults, and my daughters boyfriend went to purchase her first car from A&R Sales, Rob Strouth came out to greet us and gave us the red carpet treatment, told us how wonderful his cars were, how his mechanic gave all his cars a multitude of inspections before a car is sold to a client, and so-on Buyer Beware of this Company!!!! Rob Strouth is a compulsive LIAR!!! He misrepresented a car he sold my daughter by telling her the car had a new engine, and it DID NOT, A&R Sales Auto Dealer just seems to clean the engines and adds Armor-All To it to make it look new, then he will mis-lead you into purchasing it. Once he has all your money, and something happens to the car and you need his help, (like he said he would help if anything went wrong). His whole demeanor changes toward you. Watch out for the All Loop-Holes-Covered Contracts!!
Rob Strouth verbally promises help, worry-free service, etc., but once you sign.. Hell scam-you and re-n*g on anything he previously told you. All five of our family members contributed to the $3000.00 down payment we gave A&R Sales Auto Dealer, Rob Strouth, Amy Lynn Strouth (A&R), and the car broke-down 2 days later, had problems with it for the next 3 weeks, then Rob Strouth repossessed the car.
I HIGHLY recommend you DO NOT DO BUSINESS with A&R Sales Auto Dealer, Rob Strouth, Amy Lynn Strouth (A&R). Check and report to the BBB (has a total of three negative reviews/negative complaints), Texas DOT, Attorney General, Federal Trade Commission, Rip-off Report, and many others to stop these types of scams. All my family members who contributed money for my daughters first car WILL FILE a complaint in regards to a refund of the down payment due to mis-representation/failure to disclose, etc. .. So we will keep you posted on the situation. Meanwhile. Stay away from A&R Sales Auto Dealer, Rob Strouth, Amy Lynn Strouth (A&R).

Not bad. For a Family with a $2.00 Education!!! (Reply to a comment he made about our family having a $2 education, trying to get $5. In this case, we got $2000.00/ and that same analogy goes for the cars you sell!!)
A&R Sales Auto Dealer 402 W. Beltline Road Cedar Hill, Texas 75104 972-293-9993 office/972-333-3806 cell Thursday, October 22, 2009 This letter indicates A&R Sales Auto Dealer has refunded Karrina E. Silva and Edward B. Silva $2000.00 of the initial $3000.00 given as a down payment for the 2000 Toyota Celica GT VIN#JTDDR32T9Y0043506, purchased on September 14, 2009, in exchange for the removal of all negative feedback /Complaints on the Internet and any other agencies he has contacted are on his familys behalf.
In a three-way phone conversation that included Investigator for TXDOT Rick Morrisey, Rob G. Strouth, and Edward B. Silva A&R Sales Auto Dealer, Rob G. Strouth, and any affiliates agreed NOT to report any Portion/Contract Information/Identities, etc. of Karrina E. Silva and Edward B. Silva, to any/all Credit Bureaus, Collection Agencies, and any other means of Acquiring compensation from above named individuals. Acting on Edward and Karrina Silva behalf, Conrad Fox is accepting the $2000.00 in cash.
