My husband and I were contacted by Ashley Park Solutions in Orlando, FL, who offered to list our timeshare for resale for an up front fee of $349.  They said that we would pay no closing costs and that they make all of their money from the buyers.  I knew that these companies often scam consumers, so I researched the company and could not find any complaints, nor could I find any real information on the company.  We were desperate to get rid of our timeshare, so we listed it.

Within 2 weeks, it sold, but the buyers supposedly could not get financing for the closing cost of $300 dollars.  We paid the closing cost and were told it would close on February 3rd.  We were called a week later and told that our other week sold and we needed to pay $300 for that closing as well.  At this point, we paid $949.  They drafted the money directly from our checking account because they said they try to limit fees with credit card transactions.

We did subsequently receive a couple of 'update' phone calls, however,  the timeshare did not close on February 3rd.  We were given the 'run around' about the deed and how they could not get a certified copy of it from Brevard County.  The man I spoke with, 'Mike', said he would drive from Orlando to Brevard County to get the deed.  Almost a month later, we still have not closed.

I became more suspicious and started looking at the website even closer.  I contacted all the companies on the website that they say they use for closing and for financing.  None have heard of Ashley Park Solutions.  One company said that they have asked Ashley Park Solutions to take their logo off of the website.

My husband called from his cell phone, acting like an interested buyer, and Mike called him back.  He was screening my calls at this point.  Needless to say, Mike will not pick up when we call AT ALL.  We have heard nothing about our timeshare and the closing.

I googled the address listed on the website and it is a FedEx mailbox location.  When I call Ashley Park Solutions, there is an answering machine rather than voicemail.  This should have been my first clue that this was a scam.  Their email is also an AOL email rather than a more professional, company based email.

I do not forsee ever hearing back from 'Mike' and the sale of our timeshare.  I have contacted the BBB and the Chamber of Commerce in Orlando to find out how to get my money back.  This company is a Scam and they lie to the people they contact.  DO NOT LIST YOUR TIMESHARE OR SPEAK TO THESE PEOPLE.

i too was scammed by ashley park solutions!! my story is very similar. i too spoke to "mike". i was fortunate however to have only lost $450 dollars to them. i initally paid $200 to list property then was also told the buyer needed help with closing cost of $250. i then was given multiple closing dates and also felt they were avoiding my calls.                                                                                                                                                          i tried to call from work and still didn't get an answer or return call. i saved all emails i received from them and plan on trying to get my money back by reporting it to bank. do not do business with this company!! they will rip you off!!
