Hi everyone, I was one of those who had problem with aspire visa. I tried to call 800 number, but never had luck to speak to their customer service reps. So i decided to call the other number on the back of the card (for callers outside of US), and believe it or not I've got transfered within seconds. Finally I've canceled my account. Out of curiousity, I've tried that number again several times and each time i was able to reach them. So, for those who still have a hard time to get in touch with them - CALL 678-259-8002. Trust me it works. I hope this helps someone. thanks.

I applied for this card. I was never past due and always paid my bills on time. I was a good customer, or so thought I was, until I received another $100.00 annual fee to renew my account for a $300.00 credit line. I called them because I did not feel it was fair. They basically told me to buzz off, they did not care how good of a customer I was and they were not removing the $100.00 annual fee. I called back and told them I wanted to close the account. I could not afford to do this. After days of trying to even get their phone number, I called them. They said they would take it off. FIRST lie! They refused to take it off when I called back again after they charged me on my statement. They said that I would have to pay the $100.00 membership fee in order to close the account EVEN THOUGH this membership fee was for one year of membership that would be on a closed account. I paid it because they told me if I did not, they would report me to the credit bureau. Then they told me that there would be no other fees and the account would close. SECOND lie! They refuse to close the account and are making me pay monthly fees or threaten to report this to the credit bureau. When I sent them a letter explaining the entire situation and asking them to correct this problem, they totally ignored my letter and sent me back a letter telling what my balance due was. HOW DOES ONE GET OUT OF THIS MESS??? NO ONE WILL HELP. THIS COMPANY IS THE WORST COMPANY I HAVE EVER SEEN IN MY LIFE. I SUGGEST THAT NO ONE USE THEM. VERY BAD IDEA. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME. THEY GET YOU INTO THEIR TRAP AND WILL NOT LET YOU OUT WHILE THREATENING TO DESTROY YOUR CREDIT!! THIS COMPANY IS A BIG FRAUD!!!!! I WISH I HAD SEEN THIS SITE BEFORE I THOUGHT ABOUT GETTING THEIR PHONEY CARD. I WOULD HAVE NEVER APPLIED FOR IT.
