Assured Mortgage aka Home rescues pros ripoff Fraudently received and withdrawn $560.00 from my checking account in an attempt to solve my foreclosure dilemma. Requested refund of my monies$560.00. To date 7-12-04 my monies have not been refunded, nor replaced into my checking account. Seattle Arizona
On May 17th, 2004; contact was made to me by a representative from Assured Mortgage Corporation (Jeanne) stating, that, my name and phone number was given to her by Chartway Financing and Consolidation Corporation, she stated that she is willing to help me save my home from the pending foreclosure.
Being, terrified and troubled, due to loss of income and a broken marriage, I decided to trust the fact that this individual was contacting me through a very prominent and respected organization; which, I might add, was connected to my mortgage company. Having given her the okay, my money was withdrawn, the total sum she quoted to me was $995.00. I must pay $560.00 and within 7 days pay the additional $435.00.
Somehow, things did not go accordingly. My gut feeling told me not to pursue this venture. Jeanne reassured me, that if things did not go according to my plans, that there will be problem with me receiving my refund.
It has been almost 2 months, and I'm still awaiting, further contact being made, I was transferred to various individuals including a joker; named, Terry, claiming to be the Vice-president of the organization, Terry, stated that my refund was submitted on May 23rd, 2004. Again, waiting for 3 business days, no money, constant phone calls, I was informed that the money was mailed, still no money.
Finally, Tim called, left a message stating he was Terry's boss and that the money will posted into my account, that was on June 20th, 2004. It is still 3 weeks since my last contact with these people, and no money in sight.
The BBB, in Arizona was contacted, the Attorney General's Office was also contacted in this matter.
I need the public to be aware of corporations and organizations, that are scamming and tricking individuals out of hard earned funds. This does not make "America" the nesting that people are seeking, if companies are misrepresenting themselves.
This company need to be blacklisted and put out of business.
