To whom it May concern,

I had a wireless plan with AT&T. My account number was 025-215325200 and my wireless number was (917) 680-9638. The last day of the plan was 5/27/04. On May 27th 2004 between 10:36AM and 10:38Am, using the #611 from my wireless phone, I spoke to a customer representative by the name of Dan.

I told Mr. Dan that I definitely did not want to renew or extend the contract past May 27th 2004. Since AT&T monthly services starts the 22nd of a given month to the 21st of the next month (i.e. 5/22/-6/21/04) Mr. Dan told me that I would receive a pro-rated bill from AT&T for services offered during May 22nd until May 27th 2004, the last day of the plan.

During the week of June 15th 2004- I spoke to a customer representative and he also confirmed that I would receive a pro-rated bill from AT&T.

Since I did not receive a billing statement from AT&T, on June 27th 2004, I spoke to another customer representative by the name of Lupe, to discuss the final billing from AT&T, she told me that I did not canceled the contract on 5/27/04 but rather on June 22nd 2004 as a result I will have to pay a full month of service ($40.13)

Meanwhile the plan was canceled since 5/27/04, which means that the wireless phone was no longer in service. When I tried to explain to Ms Lupe, the situation, her statements according to records appeared that I was not telling the truth.

Finally I received the billing statement from AT&T on 6/28/04. According to the billing statement, the last day my wireless phone was used was on 5/27/04 and the last two numbers listed are the 611 numbers, numbers that I used to call to cancel the plan.

AT&T Wireless provides poor services to its clients. In addition the Company fails to admit that its Customer representatives are not efficient and are often rude.

I'm a hard working citizen and as such I deserve the respect and good treatment of AT&T. To have two customer representatives confirmed that I would receive a pro-rated bill and later to charge me for a full month, is not acceptable and a company like AT&T should not engage in dishonest actions like this one.
