It has been a couple of weeks since AT&T was suppposed to cancel my order for long distance service. Today I received a complete AT&T welcome packet in the mail. I also verified that my long distance service has been switched to AT&T against my wishes. I called AT&T customer service and again was told my record was "locked" and could not be canceled through their normal keystrokes and the rep commented this was unusual. After trying for a short time to "unlock" my record he said he would delete my information line by line from each field entry and this should cancel my service. Will have to phone again to see if I am finally taken out of their system. At least I was able to obtain the service rep's name and he gave me a confirmation number. Hopefully this will end it.
