Auto Village: Bob And Jack's rip-off! Sold me a defective car! Plaistow and Windham New Hampshire
Bob and Jack's sold me a defective car. A week after I got it I popped the hood to check my oil and found a tool on my engine that was about 2 feet long and 8 pounds! My car was acting funny so I got it checked by their mechanic in Plaistow who told me that my rpms were jumpy because I needed a transmission service and the rattling in my car was my power steering pump.
A few weeks later on my way to work my whole car died. Everything electronical was gone! My wipers, radio, blinkers, speedometer, odometer, everything! I took it to get fixed right away and my alternator had gone. When they fixed that they found out what my rattling noise was. Honeycombs in the converter! Not only that, but the reason my rps were jumping was because the converter was clogged going to the muffler.
I spent three weeks calling Bob and Jacks trying to get my money, and when they finally agreed they said they would only cover my converter. That was a week and a half ago and I have yet to see the check. Now I'm working two jobs and going to school and still have the oustanding bill from the work done on my car.
