I originally ordered a wheel rim for a Honda Civic. Autopartswarehouse.com charged my card $86.11 on 9/26/06. I got an email about 2 days later stating there was a problem and to call the phone number on the email. Turns out, the wheel rim was not in stock. It was at this time I cancelled my order. If I'm not mistaken, a company is not suppose to charge your card UNTIL the order is actually shipped.

I contacted Autopartsware.com the next day as soon as I checked my financial statement and seen they had charged my card. They said they usually charge your card as soon as the order is placed since they usually have the parts in stock. I was told I would have to wait 7 to 10 business days before I was credited back money to my account.

I contacted my financial institution to report a fraudulent charge to my card account. I was told to go ahead and wait the 7 to 10 days. As you can guess, 10 days had pasted and no credit issued.

Anyway to make a long story short, I am now told by my financial institution that I have to wait at least 30 days before they can do anything. Why should a company be able to keep my funds ....for nothing! This is as ridiculious as it can get!

As of today, 10-20-06 I am still waiting to have my money credited back to me. I will update this within the next week or so.

I would suggest to anyone to stay away from this company abd its fraudulent charging.
