Usally when I go on Craigslist I find when it is a grat deal it is usally a scam. This is one of the most elaborite scams I have seen yet. First indication is that they are advertizing in Main and the item ends up in Ohio? Next they directed me to a wesite that looks very real and tells you to call a number in order to set up the transaction. The website hade nice pictures of the item.
They do not show up in a search engine search other than a bunch of blogs with possitive feed back for so called members of the website that have had positive transactions. Non of these people show up in social media. They have a convincing "about us" page that has several officers that also do not show up in social media. THey claim to be register in Florida, I found no registrations for the company in Florida. Definate scam!
The emails started out way to lengthy trying to convince me the transaction was legit. People selling do not type out emails this long to explain how legit they are. I said I wanted to see the item so she refered me to the contact info on the sight so they could set it up. I did my research and called her out on it. The next reply was interesting and the reply had gramer issues. This tells me it is a foreigner. The previos emails were very well writtten.
The reply looked like this:
Are you kidding me? On the internet there are a lot of insane people...What has this report with our deal,it doesn't even say something founded there. Bullsh*ts! Don't worry, I have people interested locally, so the camper will be sold for sure today.
