Autovest, LLC Garnished my wage!!!!! southfield Michigan
Back in 2010 I totaled my Honda that was financed through Wells Fargo. In the midst of that I had already paid close to 19K worth of payments towards my car, my Gap insurance gave them about 3K and my car insurance with USAA gave them about 9K towards my car. The checks was send to Wells Fargo from USAA along with the Gap insurance. Wells Fargo ended up getting more than what the car was worth but they still send out Autovest, LLC to collect a debt. Autovest claims I owe them 13k?!? Not sure where they came up with that. I believe Wells Fargo sold my information to this collection agency which a lack of a better word, Collection Sharks!!! I have ended court due to this because they were suing me for the balanace. This has been an ungoing battle since for the past 3-4 years!!!! Just last month they successfully garnished my wage, which caused a 25% decrease in my paycheck! After all my bills are paid this leaves me at a -$3.00 every month!! Which means I would have to borrow money for gas and food from friends/family. This is soo unethical!! I don't understand how a collection agency is even capable of scamming innoncent people and destroying their livelihood. Due to this it left me no choice but to file bankruptcy which will effect me now for 7 years!! And all because so I can survive or else I would need to move out of my apartment and live with friends or family until I paid this false debt in which they say I owe! Something has to be done about this company and Wells Fargo for allowing them to ruin people's lives!!!!! They should be investigated on and someone needs to put a stop to this!!!!! Now, I can only hope this puts a stop to Autovest, LLC and I am still in fear they may sell my info to another agency until they get what they want. They are bullies and they won't stop unless someone stops them!!

How much did you actually owe the lender? This would include principle and interest PLUS additional interest caused by late payments. You come here whining about all this yet you offer nothing as far as what the lawsuit said! Did you go to court on the appointed day to get an itemized list of what they were going after which would also include attorney fees? They would have provided you after a judgement was entered against you this itemized list of charges. WHAT DOES IT SAY???
