This company makes a software used to make and take exams. I bought the premium version of their software about a year ago, with the promise of free version upgrades for life. I recently went to download a practice exam to study, and could no open the document because I needed an update. I am now not able to update the software without paying an enormouse fee and signing up for a recurring monthly payment.
I contacted the company, and there answer is, "Our policy has changed. You must pay for an upgrade." I requested to communicate with managment, and was told, "No one can help you with it, this is company policy now."
So apparently their company policy is to sell a service and not deliver on it.
