Bam and Cecelia Wade sold me a dog for $800.00. In all I spent $1340.53. The dog was suppose to be 2yrs. old but the health certificate from California stated the dog was 3 months, then changed it to 3yrs. My vet in Memphis said the dog was 5 yrs old. He sent me the wrong dog and he didn't send me the regitration certificate with the dog. He claim that I couldn't receive the paperwork until I bred back to him and that wasn't the agreement. I still didn't receive the paperwork. Had to put the dog to sleep because her birth canal was too small to have the puppies and the vet tried to get them out but he couldn't. I have the statements from the Veternarian. Plus Bam said she had puppies before with him but my vet she had never had puppies before.

So I call Bam and told him what the Vet said, and he talked crazy, stating I must have did something wrong.I've been breeding dogs for 26yrs. He's selling garbage and I advise to the public not to by a dog from from Bam and Cecelia wade in Sacramento, California

#2Consumer Suggestion

Thu, August 05, 2004

After working in emergency vet care for ten years (I am now out of the field), I have a few suggestions that may help to avoid this situation in the future. When purchasing an animal from a breeder, get references from people who have purchased their pets in the past. This is important because it might reveal genetic problems and because irresponsible breeding consistently produces problems like unsufficient vaccination, misrepresented age, and health problems resulting from poor hygiene. In addition to previous customers, talk to the breeder's regular veterinarian. Do the breeders provide regular care for their animals? Is the vet aware of any health problems in the parents? If the breeder does not use a veterinarian, run fast and far. Their animals are breeding stock, and the breeder is only concerned about getting your money. Finally, I would encourage anyone who is considering breeding an animal to do the following (1) Don't count on making money. Very few responsible breeders make money from what they do. They love their breed and are invested in bettering it through careful breeding of only healthy and fully screened animals. (2) Be very aware of the potential complications of pregnancy. A small birth canal is one of many. Know how much an emergency ceasarian will cost, and have that money set aside just in case. Some problems can be avoided through careful monitoring of the pregancy, but others are simply not preventable. (3) Consider how many unwanted animals die in shelters and on the street each year. It may be best not to add to those numbers.

I just had to write I find it totally SICK that Anyone would Actually put a dog to sleep JUST because it had a small birth canal and could not have pups Come on people what the heck is wrong with you it is bad enough that and i just KNOW with a name like that this Has to involve the Pit Bull breed But This breed is a GREAT breed WHEN RESPONSIBLY OWNED! Which Neither this kennel NOR the one who bought from it is Anyone who would call a kennel this has to be shady at best or at least low lifted or ghetto and believe me I have lived in a ghetto in my life I grew up in the projects I am Thankfully one who worked to get out but i have seen what these dogs go through when they are owned to do but ONE thing and that is get these idiots money or help their reputations I wonder just how many people have ever met a REAL American Pit Bull Terrier one who is loved raised and responsibly owned i wonder how many know the numbers of this breed that is put to sleep daily in this country because they are found in fighting rings or found in homes that have NO clue what it means to be a responsible owner. I wonder if these jerks have a clue the numbers that are sitting in already too crowded and under supported rescues and shelters around the country waiting for a perfect home and some of these dogs and many are still Very Young Some even Pups just born all looking for RESPONSIBLE homes. They are Homes that are to few and far and long time coming and these IDIOTS are out selling more of them poorly bred no doubt Not socialized i am sure and then you have this woman who spent all that money to get a dog to breed Yet MORE pups and then after spending all that money finding the dog can not actually be bred so she kills it??? am i missing something here?? I know MANY dogs that would have greatly benefited from even a small part of that money being sent to help support one of the many Great rescues out there busting their rears spending their own money to care for and help dogs that people like these two are producing If you ask me they are both Rip Offs
