I've been dealing with Bargainland for nearly a year now. I've had one unsatisfactory purchase due to an error in their description, and they refunded the payment and the shipping costs both ways. I'd purchased a case of what I (and they) thought to be bicycle handgrips, only to discover that they were made for something or other that was 1/8 inch smaller in diameter than a bicycle handlebar. They responded to my refund request within a few days and without argument. My only real complaint about the company is that they take forever to ship, which probably has a lot to do with getting big too fast. The main thing to remember in dealing with them, as with anyone else on eBay, is to read the description carefully and to look at the photo. Some of the folks doing the listings for them have no idea what an item is, and will usually say so. I've seen some with erroneous descriptions or categories (they currently have a cello listed as a "chello" and in the woodwind category, rather than strings), but it's a mistake to make assumptions about what you don't see or what they don't list in the description. On the other hand, I recently purchased a $2400 road racing bicycle from them for $194 because they inadvertently posted it with a description of a low-end mountain bike, so errors can work to your advantage as well. It's also important to check the shipping costs before bidding, as that can eat up savings pretty fast for smaller items. They have a box at the bottom of each listing to compute the costs for each buyer. There doesn't seem to be much of a pattern to the costs. I've paid $14.00 shipping on a small box of flatware (still a good buy), and only $16.00 for freight on the above-mentioned bicycle. Go figure...

I tried everything to get this taken care of. Ebay pros, friends of mine said this character sells nickle and dime things to get his good response up. I think I added up all the positive response value for the year and I found I have more money in my piggy bank. Anything big that he sells he robs you. Check out the negitive reponse and the value of what he is selling. The government should slam the door on ebay as well as this loser.
