I can understand and see the legitimacy of your first post against Barnett, but there are several things you could do as a consumer to protect yourself against the price-gouging techniques of the other dealerships: The first suggestion is to verify your credit rating with the large credit bureaus: Equifax, TransUnion, and Experian. The second is to shop around for financing options to find one that is more favorable to your credit situation. I, honestly, would take more time to shop for financing than I would the motorcycle. Just because you're buying from the dealer doesn't mean you have to use their financing. Lastly, you've waited forty years, it wouldn't've been too terrible to have to wait a bit more to save a sizeable enough down payment to knock off some of that principle. Not to mention it looks as if you chose either the seven or the ten year financing option. That's just foolish. As I said before, I agree that you seem to have been given the run-around at the Barnett shop, and you were more than generous in giving them multiple opportunities to redeem themselves. But your criticism of the Santa Fe dealership is a bit on the unfair side, as they did nothing but what you asked and allowed them to do.

this is the owner of that lemon 06 fatboy,it got so bad, really! I let the finance company come get the junk right posting that note, now I've bought a New (actually 3rd new one) Street Bob from Santa Fe Harley Davidson, and got screwed so bad on the price. I waited 40 yrs to buy a Harley, turns out not one dealer is any better than a buy here pay here car lot, with leisure suit larry, comfortably behind their desks with plenty of KY. My new bike runs great, but I should'a paid only 13 to 14,and got screwed by slippery larry. so all that does matter is the money. I don't know if you guys havew tried filing a complaint at the factory, but they ARE EVEN WORSE, their motto is "The customer ain't ever right, and no, you can't speak to anyone that makes over $5.15 pr hr. If you plan to buy a harley, call across the country for COMPLETE out the door prices, and I do mean out the door, get it in writing FAX! or they will screw you SANTA FE HARLEY GOT ME GOOD, pay back on my 07 street bob is over 30,000 dollars. I did a google search yesterday, and found 'em for 11,500 and 12,500 but WATCH that out the door price. my name is Will H., let me know if Santa Fe Harley Davidson GOT YOU?. lets get them CLICK here to see why Rip-off Report, as a matter of policy, deleted either a phone number, link or e-mail address from this Report.
