I am disappointed and surprised by this report. I do own the home and have rented it for the past two years to the tenants - three young men on the lease. I have had 3 plumbers at the house at a cost of nearly $3,000 trying to find and resolve any possible plumbing issues. I have receipts and documentation on file showing that the water meter does not show any flow when water is turned off in the house and a letter that was submitted to the water department by Ace Plumbing showing that there is no water leak at the home. I even had Waterworks replace the sewer (which would not affect the water bill.) I will be happy to share this with anyone who is interested.
The tenants have paid on time with the exception of this month, and I am sorry that they are now unhappy with the home. The home is a 4 BR home priced at $100 per month more than a 3 BR home rented on the same street. They did renew the annual lease at the same monthly rental fee for a 2nd year which I doubt they would have done if they found the home to be so overpriced.
In addition to the water bill, the tenants reported one additional issue - an electrical outlet problem, and Thaw Electric was immediately called for a service repair. I have not been advised of any other problems so am unaware of any other items that need repair. This appears to be an attempt to get out of paying financial obligations that come with adulthood. We have many positive customer support reviews on file that are open for review, and this is our first negative report to date.
