Yes, I think you have finally said some that is truthful. "See you in court' Yes Mr Lim, we will see you in court. I will see you in small claims court. I will see you in superior court. I will see you in criminal court. I am also contacting both packaging and chemical regulatory people to see what penalities are applied for someone that presents himself as a plant manager and chemist proposing to blend a product, provide MSDS data and properly blend the product. Since none of the product was properly blended it had to be scraped, but what you put out there was non-compliant and hazardous to people, and when I refused to put it on the market you came up with some c**k and bull story that your dad was dying. Since none of the containers were filled with the proper amount of product listed on the label, I also think its in violation of canadian packaging laws. Yes your right, I will see you in court.

In early July 2009 I met with Stanley Lim and Katharine Yap when they investigated an ad I ran in the Toronto Star for a working partner in a chemical business that ceased operation in 2001 due to the ill health of my partner. I occassionally ran ads for his replacement, but most callers didn't have the experience or the knowledge to manage this business. That was until Stanley Lim entered the picture. Lim claimed he had a law practice in England prior to comming to canada and was the chemist and production manager for a chemical related business in Canada. He said he was 53 years old, married, and in good health He went on to say that his wife Katharine was his legal secretary in England. I suggested that should he decide to manage this business, he should contact an attorney of his choosing and prepare a workable contract favorable to both of us. Lim claimed that as an attorney he could look after that. Lim agreed to purchase the remaining assets that were placed with (Hydro-Shine Niagara) a seperate division of U-Pac Products Inc to liquidate the remaining inventory of Chemx Industries and U-Pac Products Inc. a subsiduary of Chemx Industries Inc. Lim further agreed to take over the building once occupied by U-Pac Products Inc. and the lease that still had 18 months to go.
During his first week I ordered some raw materials as per his instructions, and reviewed the operation of the equipment that he was about to use in the blending and packaging of the products. When the raw materials came in he reimbursed me for thr amount I paid and had his son and his sons girl friend do the bottling and packaging. It didn't take me long to realize something was amiss. They never used the mixer to blend the product. They simply dumped the components into an open top drum, bottled and packaged. While an 8 head siphon filler sat idly by they were filling bottles with a 500 ml measuring cup. Some of the bottles had 520 ml, Some had 460 ml. Some contained a yellow liquid. Some contained a clear liquid. Some had no fragrance. others reeked of a strong acid. Nothing I saw this man do suggested any type of experience in a chemical plant. In fact one day when I happened to walk into the plant, he was getting on the Fork Lift. I asked him if he had ever operated one before. His Answer "Drove them all the time" 30 seconds later he destroyed the front end of the Fork Lift.
Lim claimed he produced 7 skids of product during the first 2 weeks of business. I'm not aware of that. As I was going by the plant one day I saw Lim and his son loading 10 or more cases of product into his van. He said he had distributors in Toronto who were buying the product, however I never saw any monies go into the company account. I asked him on numerous occassions for the rent, but he insisted that he would pay the rent when the business got going. I finally approached his wife and told her the landlord needs his rent. She gave me a personal cheque for the first and last months rent as well as the hydro deposit. A couple of days later I had a meeting with Lim who now informed me that his father was dying and he would have to go to Singapore for an undetermined amount of time and wanted to place the business for sale. I agreed to assist him if possible and placed his ad in the Toronto Star as per his instructions and credit card information. A few days later a gentleman came in and spoke with Lim about the business. The gentleman later told me he recognized Lim as a gas station attendant who worked at a shell gas station in his neighborhood . Evidently He was not the chemist and production manager that he claimed to be.
During the following week Lim called and wanted to set up a meeting with my wife and myself. He said he had to leave the country immediately and wanted to turn over his shares in the business to Christine (my wife) if we would take no legal action against them. I think Lim and Katharine now realized that his sham was over. Lim resigned from the company and turned his 50 shares in the company over to Christine. He contacted the bank and informed the bank that he was no longer a shareholder in U-Pac Products Inc. During the following weeks Christine disposed of the chemicals, and I sold off the balance of the equipment to help cover some of the expenses. All these transactions are in writing and signed by Lim.
