I purchased a galaxy ll mobile phone from Best Buy on may 15,2013, and I had the phone in my back pocket when I fell due to Parkinsons Disease on October 20, 2013. When I went to the store to put it in for repair on October 23,2013,the "tech"took it in bacl and came back 15 minutes later and stated "that this damage was intentinal not accidental. I asked him how he figured that out and he stated that cel phone are talking not in your back pocket. I asked fro the manager and a supervisor came up and when I told him I fell due to Parkinsons he became very quite and I also stated that when I bought it in May and at that moment in the store they did not offer a protective cover for the Galaxy ll.

He stated that I needed to come back the next day and meet with the General store manager, at 12:00 pm I went to the store to meet the manager and was met buy an abrasive supervisor stateing that there will be no meeting with the manager because Best Buy is not going to cover the phone.I kept going back to the store and finally met the manager Kelly, and she stated she was more than happy to get me a replacement phone, this was on November 10th, I had not heard back from Best Buy and went to the store on November 22,2013 and when I asked to she the manager was told she was in a meeting but would call me back with the date my replacement phone would be in.

at 8:00pm that eavining the same supervisor that said their would be no meeting in October called and said Best Buy would NOT be giving me a replacement phone due to the fact that I had canceled my insurance on the day AFTER they told me in Octoberthay would not honor the insurance. I have been without a phone that I need due to being 100% disabled for three years now. in the past year I have had seven falls that resulted in broken bone, stitches, etc. I am only 57 years old and been devastated by a disease that I have no control over. Their sales perso was told by myself and my girl friend that I fall some times and need a case to protect it and she stated this phone didn't need one!

I was still responsible for the monthly payment through Sprint so I went to the Sprint store two doors down and they said that aws to bad I biught it at Best Buy because hey can't honor best buys insurance plan but they said I was still responsible for the payment or the $359 early termination fee. I finally broke down and took an iphone 3 i had to Sprint and the traded me for another ipone with new service and insurance. I need a phone Badley  and was put into a corner to buy a phone, get new insurance and when I had the other insurance canceled on a phone they would not honor the insurance, they deny my claim.

They strung me out for one month to tell me they would not repair it when in fact at the time of damage the phone was fully covered. This is how they treat their customers? especialy if your disabled. They did not want to fix it oon October 23rd when I brought it to the store fully covered and when I have to cancel the insurance due to my lack of income they stick it to me by stringing me along. I can't afford to pay for something I don't have, It goes to rent or food and they had me driveing back and forth becuas ethey NEVER returned calls.
