Now based on my experience with LG products is that they make great monitors, televisions, and cellular telephones. I have never had any experience with LG appliances; but had herd that they are reliable and a good product. Sometimes people get "lemon" products but they should be taken care of. I don't think that it is a big deal to want your money back. Actually in my opinion you are perfectly in the right to ask for your money back. The only thing that I can reccomend is to go talk with the General Manager of the store and explain your situation. Now, I am sure that you are tired of hearing talk to this person talk to that person, and rightfully so; but here is why.... Tell the GM your problems with the product, how you purchase a PSP and still can't get it taken care of; then offer to take an exchange on the products instead of a straight refund. If you approach it that way, you may be able to do some exchange. If they agree to that (get it in writing if you don't have the product with you and have the GM sign the paper, or have one of you stay at the store while the other goes for the product) I reccomend (((competitor's name deletyed - see below))) or (((deleted))) I have had good luck with appliances from both companies. I hope that this advice may be of use to you, and also that usually the PSP's on products are of great benifit to the customer. I just seems that you got a bad product, and are dealing with a not so good store. sorry, allowing you to give a competitors name would instigate others to just file against their competition, to only come back later to suggest their company your comments on this policy are welcome! We have called the store we got it from, we have called the 1-800 number, and we have called 1-888-BESTBUY. When that wasn't working after 2mo., then we called LG again and they are currently working with us, but that's not going so good either. They had two different people coming out and the one never even called back to set up an appointment like he said. The other one came, but didn't even want to get into the mess because he said that they don't usually honor LG's warranty. He wanted to know why the heck we even went with LG and we told him because the service person that sold them to us at Best Buy told us that they were the best. He said we got ripped off and a raw deal. No one is willing to take these things back and just refund us our money. To me that would be simple, but I guess not.

Did you call the store that you purchased from directly, or did you try the 1-800 number on the back of your service plan brochure? If you called the store directly as it sounds like you did, try calling the 1-800 number to get it taken care of under the PSP. If that still does not work try calling 1-888-BESTBUY (1-888-237-8289). That is the customer support line. If that still does not work call LG back up and ask for an authorized service centre or a repairman out to your home. Then, if you get a bill (which you shouldn't because of LG's 1 yr warranty) just mail that bill into the address listed on the PSP brochure asking for reimbursment, since your product is covered under the best buy PSP
