BILL HEARD CHEVROLET UNION CITY ripoff mistreated and ripped off false promises the business that doesnt give a dam UNION CITY Georgia .....

This letter is in regards to Bill Heard Chevrolet Of Union City fraudulent practices and predatory lending. I am a hard working mother of two and the way I have been treated by Bill Heard and its employees Steve Johnston (General Manager) and Joseph Johnson (Finance Director) is unconscionable and stressful.

I purchased a 2003 Trailblazer from Bill Heard Chevrolet on December 20, 2003. My father was to co sign on the vehicle and instead of having me on the contract they put the vehicle in my fathers name only because with his credit they were able to get instant approval and a low interest rate. Well, to make a long story short the finance company that Bill Heard had utilized was Huntington Bank.

The bank is no longer doing business with Bill Heard Chevrolet because of several bad deals and when the finance company inquired into my vehicle the dealership purchased the contract back. The financed amount of the trailblazer was $30,341.10 and the dealership paid off $29,139.54. I have paid a total of $2,726.45, that is 5 payments for $545.29 which has my payments paid until June 3, 2003.

In addition, I have installed automatic start and keyless on this vehicle at the cost of $400.00. Now the dealership wants to come and repossess the vehicle without even trying to get me financed. Also, they have stated that none of my money will be returned to me. I cannot believe that I have invested this type of money into this vehicle and Im supposed to walk away from this without anything. The dealership and its employees Steve Johnston (General Manager) and Joseph Johnson (Finance Director) act as if they have no plausibility in this matter. It is as if the consumer does not matter all that matters to Bill Heard Chevrolet is the bottom line. What Bill Heard needs to realize that without the consumers they would have no bottom line at all and the way they treat consumers is a direct reflection of their fraudulent practices and predatory lending schemes.

Something needs to be done about this, I know I am not the first consumer that has been hood winked, bamboozled and led astray by Bill Heard Chevrolet and you best believe that I wont be the last if something is not done or if they are not made to be held accountable for the misuse and mistreatment of consumers. I would like to thank you in advance for giving me an audience to voice my concerns and make people aware of what Bill Heard is doing to consumers.

I could not believe allen's comment. But then I realized he's affiliated with the snake in the grass Bill Heard chevrolet. Allen attacking Ms Thessia character does not give Bill Heard chevrolet a right to treat her that way. Hooray for Rip-off report, The Great Thorn and Stick Bogart for letting consumers expose deceptive car dealersships. Ms Thessia I do believe Bill Heard chevrolet will get what's coming to them.

how can you expect a dealership to be responsible for your situation when first of all it was brought on by your own father making the phone call that started your situation and second of all if your father doesn't believe in you why should a bank or anyone else for that matter? it seems that the issues you have have been going on for a lot longer than five months. the dealership shouldn't have to give you anything back since you drove the car the whole time....how much would a taxi or rental have cost you? where is the father to your children? why did your father not want to be responsible for you any more? quit whining about the dealership and take responsibility for your own actions. victem or volunteer......you are a volunteer....call daddy

I had a meeting with Steve Johnston at the dealership on Tuesday May 20, 2003 along with 3 other employees, I was first informed that my e-mail on the rip off report had been read. Of course he and his employees were as nice as pie seeing that I had found an audience in which to voice my concerns. In my understanding from Mr. Johnston, they can get anyone financed and if that is the case then what seems to be the problem? Mr. Johnston has stated that they would help me get financing even if they had to do a dealer endorsed deal, if that is possible then why not move forward with that? I feel as if they believe it would be easier to just get me out of their vehicle and move on to the next consumer. My issue still remains with the fact that my car payment is paid through June the 3rd, I understand that they have stated that they will refund my 5 payments plus the cost of the automatic start and the keyless entry I had installed minus usage. What does that mean, it means that the dealership can say that there was damage to the vehicle and I over used the vehicle according to their standards and in the end Im still left holding the bag because then I wouldnt get a refund of anything. But taking all things into consideration, how am I supposed to get to work on a daily basis to support my children? The bottom line to me is not to get into a big battle with Bill Heard Chevrolet or Mr. Johnston, but it is to get to work to support my children and lead a happy and hopefully stress and drama free life. It easy for them to say one thing and mean another, they dont want to look bad to consumers.

I am responding to Thessia from Fayetteville, GA. concerning her statements about Bill Heard Chev. in Union City,GA. Thessia's father called Huntington Bank and told them he no longer wanted the loan he had signed and agreed to. He told the bank the vehicle was for his daughter and he didn't want to be responsible. Bill Heard Chevrolet has tried to help Thessia obtain financing however, it cannot be guaranteed.Thessia also has the opportunity to obtain her own financing. If financing is not possible Bill Heard Chevrolet will reimburse Thessia for the five paymentsalong with the installed automatic starter, minus usage. Bill Heard appreciates all of their wonderful customers.
