I am very interested in what ingredients comprise any formula, and thusly, I always look to the MSDS for that information. The following is several email conversations I had with John Davidson of SCOE 10X:

10/26/07

John,

I could not find your MSDS on this product, also, has it been approved by the EPA?

Johns reply:

MSDS attached.

The EPA only gives "approval" to biocidal type products. Since SCOE 10X does not contain any biocidal properties, the EPA's approval is not necessary.

Thanks,

John,

Why are the ingredients in your product not listed? And if your product is "non-biocidal" meaning that it does not kill living organisms- what exactly is the bacteria that causes the odor if it is not alive? You do say quote" the odor causing bacteria die and destroys the odor molecules".

Johns Reply:

SCOE 10X's ingredients are not listed because they are proprietary.

SCOE 10X is a blend of probiotics and surfactants. That is as much information we can give.

SCOE 10X does not kill the odor causing bacteria. The odor causing bacteria die because SCOE 10X eliminates their food source.

Thanks,

Well, I looked up probiotics on wikipedia: Probiotics are dietary supplements containing potentially beneficial bacteria or yeasts, ok;

and then the definition of surfactants is Short for 'SURFace ACTive AgeNT' - a molecule that lowers suface tension. Surfactants are the active ingredients in soap.

Well, I still am in the dark about what exactly this SCOE 10X does and what it is made of, so I for one will stay away from using it.

I don't understand why the ingredients cannot be listed for SCOE 10X - not the formula, just what's in there. What is the big secret?

I am very glad that to find the original complaint.  As a consumer I believe that no one who has been treated fairly is going to go to the trouble of alerting others and then lie about it.  I own a business and have never had a customer upset with me because I treat them the way I want to be treated, if you can't then don't go into business.

I am always looking for good cleaners for cat urine and came upon this product.  Thank goodness I did not order it before checking out this website!  No way am I going to do business with a guy who does not stand by a guarantee and berates paying customers.  I am going to stay with Urine Off.  It works and they give a specific breakdown of the "ingredients" and how they work.  I did a little research and yep, the science holds up.  I promise you, it is a life saver and probably a cat life saver.  Too often cats end up in shelters for no other reason than the spraying issue.  I highly recommend Urine Off.

I don't know what is in Scoe 10X but my experience in using it has been very positive.  My sister bought a new house with tile floors.  The previous owners had dogs they left over the weekends in the house.  It stunk terribly.  We Scoe10xed the grout lines and let it set for an hour or so.  There is no urine smell left at all.
