The above statement is found on the opening web page of BIO MERIEUX. I will demonstrate exactly how BIO MERIEUX functions in reality.

BIO MERIEUX THE REALITY--BROKEN PROMISES.BROKEN CONTRACTS,SEXUAL ABUSE,INTIMIDATION,MENACE,LIES,HYPOCRISY,PROMISCUITY,INCOMPETENCE AT THE HIGHEST LEVEL,INDUSTRIAL ESPIONAGE,BLACKMAIL,THEFT,THREATS AGAINST PREGNANT WOMEN.RACISM ,ENCOURAGING SERIOUS AGGRESSION AGAINST MYSELF AND FAMILY,WITHHELD INFORMATION FROM THE GENDARME IN AN INVESTIGATION OF A SERIOUS ATTACK(ATTEMPTED MURDER),CORRUPTION INVOLVING LAW FIRM (MY LAWYER),THE MURDER OF MY SECOND CHILD,I TRIED TO KILL MYSELF,2009 MY WIFE DOMINIQUE ATTEMPTED SUICIDE.

Myself and my family had numerous anonymous phone calls (some threatening), my car had on thirteen occasions nails placed in the tyres ,with on one occasion  almost a very serious consequence when my car left the road. I was attacked twice ,the second time i was hospitalised and rushed in emergency from one hospital to another (which specialised in head injuries) a doctor later stating it could have been fatal.The gendarme entered bio merieux. I lost my company, one I had created and had been running for eight years, one of the most successful in my particular industry and consequently many millions of pounds of turnover,my wife and i divorced,i lost my son,my wife afraid to live in france took my son to Cambodia.After years of abuse ,pressure and stress i tired to kill myself.JANUARY 2009 DOMINIQUE TOOK AN OVERDOSE IN AN ATTEMPT TO KILL HERSELF.October 2009,dominique works for the company TSO in Cambodia.They have won contract to build all railway lines in the country,part of dominiques job is to supervise this work.She will have to work and walk in fields and jungles.Many of these areas are still mined.She is terrified ,but feels she has no choice.HOW WILL THIS ALL END!APRIL 2008 I was telephoned by the vice president of Biomerieux North carolina ,Thierry bernard.The call had been arranged by e mail.During this call mr bernard spoke openly and confirmed his knowledge of serious threats previously made by his company to my family,that"gangsters could come into my office or house to look for papers,and that i could be physically attacked"he made no excuses or apology in fact he said"do you know why you were told this".I confirmed this conversation to him in writing i was so shocked...Following this communication ,my wife who was already terrified by this affair and the threats made fled to cambodia taking my little boy with her thinking she would find safety and security.she did not find this!

My name is Mark **** . I am initially from Teesside in the north east of England. It all began in 1994 when looking for a career change I decided to go to France to teach English to French businessmen. Having a professional background myself, this seemed a logical and  good idea.

I moved to Lyon in the south of France. It was in my second year in France when by accident, I met my wife. I fell in love immediately, she was all i had ever dreamed off.Her name is Dominique her father was French her mother Cambodian .I think this mixture was one of the most striking reasons of why she attracted me. Within a very short period of time i asked Domi to marry me she said yes and we were married.

At this time i was working for private companies teaching business English, the market for this in Lyon was at saturation point, however I saw a niche in the market and went for it. In 1995 i started working for myself, two years later I had one of the largest language schools in Lyon. Certainly by reputation it was already the best.

The problem and this is were it all begins ,75% of my turnover was with one company BIO MERIEUX This company is one of the largest microbiology companies in the world  focusing on vitro diagnostics. The companies power base is in Lyon France, but it has companies all around the world.In the USA 2 SITES in DURHAM North Carolina,1 site in Missouri and also California ,over 50% OF THE COMPANIES BUSINESS IS GENERATED THROUGH NORTH AMERICA.

I have official documented proof of everything stated in this affair,see end of web site for examples,i have over 150 official documents with my lawyer including police reports ,hospital reports letters of witness etc..

The owner of the company ALAIN MERIEUX has total knowledge of all that has happened.(i wrote to him all along the years,first contact 2003)

Upon accepting such a large contract BIO MERIEUX offered me a challenge (they were fed up changing schools every year because of poor quality) they asked me to work at half the market price for one year, if the quality was good the second year I would have the full market price. I agreed and accepted  the challenge.This promise(confirmed in writing by participants of the original meeting) was also acknowledged but never honoured .

During the first year the manager responsible for training in bio merieux,FLORENCE GIRARD was in my opinion far too friendly!

I was never at ease in her presence ,much to her and her colleagues mirth.In this first year i was approached officially by two managers in bio merieux i was asked if a coloured lady who worked for me as a teacher,SARAH ADENLE "couldn,t you find a real teacher"and"she cannot work with our managers they would not accept her"and a young American man BLAIR SHEPARD they believed was gay were the kind of people who should work as teachers inside bio merieux.I was informed bio merieux was a company with the highest reputation.I quickly responded the two teachers in question were my best teachers,totally professional and my friends.(I thought comments such as these were a thing of the past).I directly informed the managers i would not accept any more conversation on this subject,My directness was evidently not appreciated.Nor did i appreciate these homophobic and racist comments.This was not the end of it i was later informed not to let Sarah work with a manager Christophe Coppens because "he will not work with an African" "he wants to learn real English" My response was that Sarah was English and her command of the English language surpassed my own(which it did),I insisted sarah have some contact with this man.On another occassion a large contract which was running smoothly was suddenly ,without any explanation or following of procedures cancelled-this was a contract to teach over the telephone-it was cancelled after one of the teachers Deborah ramsey who is black had physically taught at the company when replacing a teacher who was ill.Deborah who worked almost exclusively on telephone English lost almost all her work and had to leave my company.Biomerieux further more refused to pay for the work done and I payed Deborah from my own pocket.My wife who is French/Asian was referred to as "your bowl of rice"i believe this is a french expression,one i did not appreciate.After many such episodes as the above i reluctantly and to protect Sarah gave her more and more work away from Biomerieux were she would be appreciated as an individual and judged on her teaching skills and not her colour.

At the end of the first year the quality was excellent (the official response) my meeting with BIO MERIEUXS training manager florence girard was i had the contract for year two ,but if i wanted the correct price --my price was to have a SEXUAL RELATIONSHIP, with her.I Refused.. The next two years followed exactly the same pattern .No increases unless..

I could not now walk away from this contract much as i wanted to because the volume was so enormous. I would have had to dismiss 80% of my work force the majority who had come to France leaving their homes and work in the uk to have their dreams of working in France fulfilled. I had taken bank loans to set company up, find offices furniture etc ,in short i would have bankrupt the company and myself. I was totally dependant and trapped. .

The first year i spoke to CHRISTIAN NOIZET director bio merieux i had problems with Florence Girard,he took no action,my choice was not good.i now know he was one of FLORENCE GIRARDS lovers.

Year two I spoke to another manager in Bio Merieux but my choice was again not so good, MARC BARRAL (director buying merieux) he turned out to be another of Florence girards many male conquests in the company and incidentally one of the men later interviewed by police after the second attack upon my person.

Finally after years of horrendous abuse sexual, moral, threats, humiliation (details can be given later) I was approached by a senior director in bio merieux JEAN CLAUDE RIVARD DIRECTOR DRH,who had been informed internally by PAOULA STECK COSTAGLIO(PRESENT ASSISTANT DRH BIO MERIEUX)OF THE SITUATION BETWEEN FLORENCE GIRARD AND MYSELF.After meetings with JEAN CLAUDE RIVARD,FREDERICK ST OLIVE DIRECTOR DRH BIO MERIEUX AND JEAN LE DAIN SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT BIO MERIEUX The training manager was dismissed for sexual harassment of myself after a short investigation.

It is now very clear that the lady was dismissed for political reasons and her relationships with other merieux employees , i was used as a trigger to get rid of her.and this was even said in front of me by two directors in the company at the time.)

After the dismissal of Florence Girard the abuse continued and intensified.I contacted law firm Bignon Lebray.They presented me to a partner Lionel Hanachowicz.He confirmed that Bignon lebray did not work with Biomerieux.I asked him for legal advice only.Without consulting me he contacted Biomerieux,I was ordered by Biomerieux to a meeting with a senior director.At this meeting i was told how unhappy Biomerieux were with me ,i was invited to stop working with biomerieux.I began to lose contracts with Biomerieux,the abuse and threats intensified.Any relationship I had with the company was finished.A short time after this meeting I lost the biggest teaching contract in france,without any notice.This was the beginning of the end for my company.I learnt later this betrayal of Bignon Lebray was complete,Biomerieux became a client of Bignon Lebray..

At this time I was informed by BIO MERIEUX , JEAN CLAUDE RIVARD DIRECTOR DRH that BIO MERIEUX had concrete proof that criminals working for another director DRH CHRISTIAN NOIZET were going to come into my offices or HOUSE  to look for papers to use against me and give help to his lover florence girard The sacked training manager(at the time my wife was 6 months pregnant and went to stay with her family such was her concern )She was terrified of staying in the house alone,she became ill,she thought she might lose our baby!This has since been confirmed by THIERRY BERNARD vice president Biomerieux who telephoned me from North carolina.

I was informed by BIO MERIEUX, jean claude rivard director drh,with the knowledge and permission of BENOIT ADELUS,JEAN LE DAIN THAT BIO MERIEUX HAD CONCRETE INFORMATION THAT FLORENCE GIRARDS HUSBAND WAS GOING TO COME TO MY OFFICES AND I WAS IN DANGER OF ATTACK ,i was told experts from the company one in particular THIERRY CHOULET were committing industrial espionage and infiltrating  my computers to find personal information to use against myself etc etc. All of this from Bio Merieux a  company with such an excellent reputation, we were absolutely devastated.

Especially Dominique my wife who was six months pregnant with our child ,even that was not easy our son arrived only after my wife took years of tests and she was only pregnant because of technology Edward was a test tube baby. all this compounded the situation. Before been born my son was threatened by BIO MERIEUX .

At this time we started receiving anonymous phone calls, some making menaces, sometimes the person would scream down the phone , other times the line would just remain quiet  the  person on the other end just listening. we even had special equipment installed to try to catch the people responsible. One call told me to stop taking legal action against Bio Merieux or there would be consequences.

We began to have nails and screws placed in the tyres of my car, in a short period of time over thirteen times. On one occasion it was very frightening  when I lost control of the car and it left the road. The people responsible for this certainly saw a  baby-seat in the back of the car when placing the nails. We had the habit for years of  checking the tyres before driving! All of this was reported to the gendarme who started to build their dossier.

I was personally attacked twice, the second time was very serious .The attack took place in the car park of the school. I was knocked unconscious ,the attacker continued the attack  and i received injuries to my head, face, ribs and leg. I finished in the nearest hospital who because of the injuries sent me in an emergency ambulance to a specialist head hospital the same night.

During the attack my case with all my bio merieux documents connected to this history were stolen, fortunately I had made photo copies.

I had been told by Bio Merieux that I could be attacked and my papers stolen, BOTH THINGS HAPPENED!!

BIO MERIEUX then incredibly lied to people ,even in writing that i had beneffitted financially from the dismissal of florence girard,that i had asked for and received an increase in price ,effectively that i had sold florence girard.BIO MERIEUX put a target on my head and the head of my family.An inexcusable lie in that they had "concrete proof"people were angry with me,people wanted to attack me ,people worked with criminals and were going to send them into my house!Someone listened to this lie.

THE GENDARME concerned by the severity of the attack entered bio merieux for assistance.They spoke to a senior director inside bio merieux FREDERIQUE SAINT OLIVE .Bio merieux refused to give any assistance to the gendarme.

BIO MERIEUX TOOK THE DECISION TO WITHHOLD INFORMATION FROM THE GENDARME ,WHO WERE INVESTIGATING A SERIOUS AGGRESSION ,POTENTIAL MURDER.BIO MERIEUX REFUSED TO FOLLOW THE LAW THAT ANY PERSON IN THE COUNTRY WOULD BE EXPECTED TO FOLLOW.

THE GENDARME INFORMED ME THAT THIS ATTACK WAS CERTAINLY A REVENGE ATTACK,AND THAT THEY WERE SURE THERE WOULD BE FURTHER ATTACKS IN THE FUTURE. I WAS INFORMED BY THE SAME MEMBER OF THE GENDARME THAT BIO MERIEUX AND ALAIN MERIEUX KNEW SOME POWERFUL PEOPLE IN LYON ,AND THAT I MUST BE VERY CAREFUL,THE SAME GENDARME RECOMMENDED I SELL MY COMPANY AND LEAVE LYON OR EVEN FRANCE.I WAS VERY CONCERNED, MY WIFE WAS TERRIFIED,DOMINIQUE TOLD ME MERIEUX COULD ARRANGE THAT I COULD BE SHOT.

INCREDIBLY I became aware later that a powerful group of businessmen ,PRESENT AND EX cadre of BIO MERIEUX had been meeting to protect the lady(florence girard) who was dismissed and during these meetings very hard comments were made concerning physically ATTACKING ME,KILLING ME .

This company even went against in my opinion HUMAN RIGHTS, they included in their contract a clause ,,bonus  malus,, which stated if my teachers were ill and I could not replace them with another ,which I could not with short notice. They would reduce a certain amount from my total  invoice. I had to ask teachers to teach sometimes even when ill. One even collapsed and finished in bio merieux infirmary in marcy.

Experts from BIO MERIEUX were intercepting my emails with confidential information which they hoped to use against me at a later date. So I was informed again by mr Rivard.

BIO MERIEUX continued with the BLACKMAIL,I was approached by two senior directors JEAN CLAUDE RIVARD AND FREDERIQUE SAINT OLIVE with the agreement of BENOIT ADELUS and JEAN LE DAIN and offered a large contract for several years if I would help them discredit another ex director CHRISTIAN NOIZET who I was told was helping the lady who was sacked,again i refused.)

BIO MERIEUX BLACKMAIL AGAIN.SAME TECHNIQUE AS USED BEFORE,DIFFERENT MANAGERS.I was again sent a registered letter saying bio merieux did not want to work with me.At this time i had began legal action against bio merieux .CHRISTIAN GRANDCLAUDE PRESENT DIRECTOR COMMUNICATIONS BIO MERIEUX AND BEATRICE MINI ARDUIN PRESENT LEGAL ASSISTANT BIO MERIEUX contacted my manager DAVID HOLMES,they informed him the letter was a mistake,and that BIO MERIEUX would work with me if i stopped legal action against BIO MERIEUX,this approach is illegal and penal under french law. Again on principal i refused to surrender to bio merieuxs blackmail.

I again wrote to the chairman ,Alain Merieux and senior people informing them the damage this was having to my health and that of my wife.( I have letter)

Dominique started to have panic attacks and problems of high and low tension and was admitted to hospital .These attacks sometimes took place in front of our son who was naturally frightened and confused.We both had to see psychiatrists for help,i did not work for one year with serious clinical depression, Our relationship was becoming more and more difficult to maintain. Although i did not see it for a long time, I was so focussed on the events around me

Dominique my wife even thought of committing suicide, I found her one time stood on the outside of the window of our house on the top floor staring into space. I managed to bring her into the house this time.All the threats by bio merieux ,the lies and pressure ,the attacks had affected her very badly.

I am now jumping over some events very relevant but can give info at a later date;

Bio merieux without notice cancelled 75% of my business without following any of the normal procedures .I spent the next three years trying to turn this around. I sold my two properties ,cars and injected my savings into the company. All this time not realising I was losing the most important thing in my life. My wife and my beautiful son. One of bio Merieuxs best tactics was to send me a registered letter saying they were going to stop working with me,this could have made me bankrupt.the pressure was enormous.This LYING company and lying dishonest management now say these letters are routine procedure.However when they did cut my contract enormously ,THEY FORGOT TO SEND THIS LETTER ?this company has no ethics at all,past and present heirachy are all guilty of following totally illegal and unethical procedures.They with intention and planning drove my wife to attemted suicide!

"We returned to England in December 2006 to try to put this nightmare behind us. But there was so much baggage from this terrible history my wife could not forget. I fought as hard as i could realising everything was for nothing if I lost them..

November 2007 Dominique returned to France.But she could not live in France ,she had too many bad memories,she was worried she could be attacked,after all the threats by bio merieux ,all the lies,she was afraid to live in her own country. When my wife returned to france she was pregnant with our second child,she said she could not continue with me,she could not stay in france ,She was very ill,also we were interdit banquier after losing the company.She terminated the pregnancy.

2008 I decided to write to all concerned in bio Merieux.to try to finish this history.

.Even writing to the chairman Alain Merieux from a personal point of view explaining the consequences to my family from this terrible history ,the chairman ALAIN Merieux himself is no stranger to tragedy, he has lost two sons  and experienced many things so I thought if I showed him how badly BIO MERIEUX had performed and the consequence he would help finish this.

I was wrong about ALAIN MERIEUX ,he refused to help.His response was not direct he gave the paper to BIO MERIEUX lawyers to use against me.Dominique came to the court with me to see justice,we were mocked and attacked by BIO MERIEUXS lawyer in open court because of this personal letter i had written to Alain Merieux,dominique became ill again,SHE TOLD ME SHE WAS ASHAMED OF HER COUNTRY!

When i heard dominique intended to flee to Cambodia to live and was taking my son,i brought him to England,we fought against each other for our son,we had two appearances at the high court in London.I had to answer under the 1980 hague child abduction act,abduction of my own son.like all fathers i lost.This last situation killed us both as people,as a couple.WE WERE NOW BOTH VERY VERY ILL.

2008 dominique took my son to cambodia,i have no access to him!the most important thing in the world for me.

I was in France when Domique took my son to Cambodia ,without my authority or the authority of the courts in France.She needed to begin a new life.I was empty ,everything i had was gone.Now the most important thing in my life MY SON was the other side of the world.I was so tired of fighting.I spoke to my lawyer in Valence i informed him to stop legal action against my wife,she is a good mother and would look after Edward,he said we would now win ,i said no i am tired of all this fighting,i cannot continue.I returned to my hotel in lyon.I had sleeping pills already from my doctor in England.I wrote letters to my family,to my wife and to my son.I took all the sleeping pills and drank a bottle of whisky.--I awoke the next day in a pool of vomit.Vomiting had brought the pills up and saved my life.At that time i did not care if i lived or died.

I made a final effort to finish this terrible history by writing to the CHAIRMAN AND VICE PRESIDENTS, the response from all was, they did not know about this history!

A ridiculous  response since I have written to the chairman ALAIN MERIEUX before and received a written response, also i do not imagine BIO MERIEUX sack lady managers for sexual harrassment or receive visits from the police every day concerning a serious aggression.)

I have proposed many different solutions to this company but now have no option other than to tell this history.

JANUARY 2009 DOMINIQUE TOOK AN OVERDOSE TRYING TO KILL HERSELF.All of these many years had finally been too much for her.She was alone the other side of the world with my little boy.I was desperate for them,i thought dominique might try again and succeed .We both needed help quickly.I wrote to Alain Merieux ,i asked for a little pity,i said i was prepared to forget everything ,i made a small request for help.Alain Merieux and his managment committee took a decision not too help.

Since the beginning Bio Merieux has been shaped by principles that have guided the Merieux family for generations,I HAVE JUST DEMONSTRATED HOW THESE PRINCIPALS FUNCTION IN REALITY._I will try to explain this to my son when he is older!

WHY MAKE THIS HISTORY PUBLIC NOW? I tried for 8 years to find a quiet solution to this.I made hundreds of attempts via senior people inside bio merieux,face to face meetings,letters,e mails,faxes.I tried to find a solution for 4 years in a legal process i ended this in april 2008.I could not make the history public whilst involved in an official legal case.since april 2008 i have been involved in divorce proceedings,legal battles to keep my son,i have been very ill because of this affair,in desperation i tried to kill myself.JANUARY 2009 Dominique tried to kill herself.A direct result of this history.I DECIDED THIS WAS NOW GOING TO FINISH FOR ME,AND THE PARTS PLAYED IN THIS BY BIO MERIEUX MUST BE KNOWN THEY MUST NOT DO IT AGAIN TO ANYONE ELSE.
