Bloomfield Montessori ripoff payment falsely advertised as a Montessori school Seminole Florida
I took my child out of the Bloomfield Montessori school because it is NOT operated like a Montessori school and, has no affiliation with the American Montessori Society. Also, the owner, Barbara Wallis, made disparaging remarks about my child after I questioned practices at the school, which she never really addressed. She was paid a month in advance for the month of November. I never signed anything stating that she could keep any money should my daughter be removed from her "school". My daughter was taken out on November 19th and I've been trying to get the money for the rest of the month ever since. I called her four times. My husband asked her to return his call, once. She stated all four times that I got her on the phone, that she was mailing the check and then, would abruptly hang up the phone. She has never mailed the check and does not return calls nor answer the phone.
She also kept pictures of my daughter, that were taken by a photographer that came to the school, that we were suppose to be allowed to buy. I asked her to tell the photographer that my daughter was no longer in her school, which obviously never happened and; I will not be able to purchase these photos.
